...will be shown for FREE in Finland by our national channel.
I'm f*cking pumped already!
Will we see Sam Peter put into same position by "Robbe" as we saw last September by Wlad?
Peter will quit late in the fight. hes super out of shape, and Helenius, while limited, has enough power, boxing ability and height to make him give up.
Peter is a fat tub again to the surprise of no one. It's time for Helenius to deliver, he's getting coverage on national television and is fighting a name opponent ripe for the pickings. If he loses it's just horrible for boxing in this country.
A Finnish tabloid has news about the weigh-ins for this fight:
Helenius: 108,5 kg (239½ lbs.)
Peter: 117,9 kg (260 lbs.)
I am very confident about victory for Helenius...
Peter has gone into Danny Williams mode by being so heavy.
He will be plodding and get hammered...as usual against the better fighters he fights.

Helenius will probably win a decision unless Peter is completely shot. As limited as Peter is, it took Wladimir a ton of punches to put him out, and Helenius is content on winning a decision if his sharp-shooting doesn't finish off the opponent. Helenius would really have to go for the KO to get it over Peter and I doubt he'd put himself at unnecessary risk. Of course there's the chance that Peter is finished as a fighter and Helenius will have no trouble taking him apart.
All I hope is that Helenius gets a title shot somewhere down the line. It's been long enough since Olli Mäki challenged for the title some 50 years ago.
A very good call my fellow countryman, this is kinda "make or break" moment for Robert.
His in-and-out movement is quite good, he keeps his range and composure well, and is patient.
All this and many other things summed up makes me think we'll see a good tactical fight in which Peter trying to make it a war, while Helenius refusing to go at that and possibly disarming his hard-hitting brawling foe.

He would certainly be the first truly promising professional HW from my country.
Robert also has pop, and he seems to be good at catching guys coming in. But will it be enough for Peter's granite chin in the end of non-existing neck? Remains to be seen...
I wouldn't rule out the possibility of Helenius hurting Peter to the head but a body shot KO is far more likely i think. He has brutal body shots.
Peter is a fat slob, who can only swing wide punches coming forward. Someone with half a brain and twice the fitness level of peter should be able to work this out.
Slight chance of a Ko put most prob ud for Helenius.
You mean a tank who'd make his way through a brick wall if his life depended of it?
But yeah, that's how you beat them, get out of the way and punish them for their rushing. Use your mobility against the lack of theirs.
I don't like Helenius that much, but I think he'll win a decision or stop Peter late.
Thank you for an honest response, my beloved western neighbor :beerchug:
No one can be forced to like someone. Giving them the credit they deserve is all I can ask, and that's the code I go with.

In an interview, Helenius promising to knock Sam Peter out. He also feels ready for the Klitschko's, but his trainer says otherwise and Helenius admits that he's probably right.
Helenius has also shown a good eye for fighting and devastating hooks to the body.
well said,
Im very pleased with Helenius opponent. Peter has the power to end it with one punch. If he can beat him, Ill say Helenius is a top 10 HW.

Yeah, I also like the match-up. Peter could be damaged goods, still I see him as a bigger challenge than Brewster 5 years past his prime. Robert isn't a bouncing type of a boxer, I expect to see a lot of leather swinging in the air.
Hard shots will be delivered!
He also said in an interview that he's very confident, and feels like no one can hurt him in the ring. Definitely a good attitude.
WAR "Nordic Nightmare"! :boxing:
