Anyone a fan of both cotto AND margarito??

I prefer Cotto, but I have no problem with Margarito, truthfully. The plaster thing is a bit of a let down in a certain sense, but he's human. Either he didn't know (sure) or he did. Either way, he's done what the commissions have asked of him and he's now one of the safer fighters to watch. As in, he won't try anything with the microscope on him. No problem with either fighter.

Was until they caught Marg tryin' to cheat. That was some low sh1t and he won't even man up and admit it and apologize...just does some f@g-@ssed subject changing. He's no real Mexican.

why would anyone hate Cotto?

I used to like Cotto but the hype and his ridiculous fans disrespecting everyone around 07 put me off him. I was jumping for joy when Margarito Kicked his ass.

I have no alliance towards the mexican/puerto rican rivalry so of course I'm a fan of both of these guys. Miguel Cotto has been one of my favorite PR boxers since Trinidad fell off. Him and Ivan Calderon have always been 2 of my favorites. I always enjoy watching Cotto's body attack and aggression go into play and love how he switched it up and learned how to box as his career progressed. As far as Margarito goes, I'm a fan of his too. No matter who he's fighting he'll come forward and won't back down. It's a style that can either make or break you, but it's worked for him. If they were to fight again, I'd be rooting more for Cotto but that doesn't mean I'd be upset if Margarito were to win again.

thats pretty much exactly how i feel :boxing: I mean I can see why people dislike Margarito due to the plaster scandal.....totally understandable. However I can't hate because if I was a professional boxer no doubt I would be worse than he could ever be. I would use loaded wraps, inject myself with PED's, and destroy every one around my weight class. Hell I might even have Panama lewis as a trainer and Capetillo as an assistant, just so I could be labeled as the biggest POS to ever step inside the ring...lol

I was briefly a fan of Marg. After the Cotto fight, right until the plaster issue. Then, just as I was warming up to the guy heading into the Pac fight he pulls the Roach imitation.
