Is in spanish but in the last question they ask him "True or false Can Miguel Cotto beat Canelo Alvarez and Chavez JR on the same night" he says "True" with a smile on his face.
He most likely beats Chavez Jr. but I think Canelo beats Cotto. Canelo fights like a bigger version of Cotto.
Canelo fights like a slow, bulky, lost mma-version of a pseudo-Cotto at best. Miguel beats both these guys 7 days a week and twice on Sunday...

Are you kidding me? Cotto fights behind a jab and is nothing like that Mexican hype job. Canelo has no head movement, no defence, no jab, questionable chin, and is slow. Cotto plays around with him and treats it like a sparring session.
I agree, and this is coming from someone who thinks Cotto hasn't improved since losing to Marg & Pac, and doesn't belong at jmw.
I just haven't fallen for the hype machine building up both JCC J, and Canelo.
what a bunch of idiots on here arguing about this, of course the mexicans got all but hurt about this only being a damn joke on a tv show, ya'll are sad....
Well, I would probably pick him to beat both at different times. However, this seemed to be a bit more of a joke than anything else.
That being said, in a year or so, I think Canelo would be ready for the Cotto that faced Mayorga. That is, if Canelo continues to advance and improve. He's fast enough, with a decent pop and he would be willing to pressure Cotto, which might give him problems. Nonetheless, Chavez would be in over his head and virtually any point.
We'll see what Chavez is made of agaisnt Zbik, I suppose.
