Victor Ortiz is MAD: I'm stopping Berto, i'm stoppin his whole career[VIDEO]

Ortiz brutalized Maidana just as much as Madaina brutalized Ortiz. That whole fight was brutal, but Ortiz gave up. It had potential to be fight of the year. Also despite the judges, Ortiz beat Peterson. He was a bit **** in the second half, but it definitely was not enough to counteract the knockdowns. Maidana was zeroing in and landing every right hand he threw. Whether or not Ortiz quit, he was on his way to a stoppage loss. Ortiz gave up tons of rounds against Peterson, backing off and letting Peterson box him. He gave that victory away. I like Ortiz, Ive met him in person a few times and hes a really nice kid. Im just keeping it real.

I have no doubt in my mind that Victor Ortiz is going to win this fight in impressive fashion and shut a lot of people up.

I don't understand why he thinks everybody at 140 was scared to give him a shot. Did he forget about the way he was brutalized by Marcos Maidana as well as the way he was outboxed by Lamont Peterson? yea and those are also two guys that were just about knocked out by ortiz. Ortiz is young and still growing. I like this interview. If he carries this attitude into the ring Berto will be done. With more experience or instinct Ortiz knocks out maidana and lamont. War Ortiz!!!! He isn't as soft as many people think. Ortiz has some serious skill.

In my opinion, this has built up over time. I think he was legitimately happy to be getting attention and shine. He was getting the big push from Golden Boy and seemed eager to be a happy guy outside of the ring. He was a happy guy, because he's come from so little. However, when the Maidana loss occurred, I think he was making the mistake of falling for his own hype and simply went about it recklessly. For a guy who worked so hard, to have it fall apart that night, kind of shcoked him more than the damage. Therefore, you get comments like, "I don't deserve to take punishment like that." If they fought now, I'd probably pick Ortiz. He got up from every knockdown, so he has a decent chin. That didn't cause him to the lose the fight. The way the fight took place and the shock is what caused the loss. Still, I think this "new" Ortiz is something that's been there and is simply now being focused on. He's always been a bit angered in general, and I think getting so heavily criticized is what has brought this out. I think this would actually help him in the long run. He'll always have problems with boxers can can hit, but I think he has a chance to make a bit of noise. He stays focused and angered, he has a much better shot. Or, he could be finished. Who knows?

I might not be rooting for Berto, but I'm definitely rooting against Ortiz. He's a giant, gaping, arrogant ******* who's never really accomplished that much. His best win is...oh right. His biggest fight, he had his guy on the edge of a stoppage but that guy just wanted it more. Lol at Maidana being scared of Ortiz, Ortiz was shook as **** after that fight.
