I've read a lot of criticism of Manny's last 3 opponents and upcoming opponent which are:
Cotto, Clottey, Margarito and Mosley.
My question is if manny was at GBP, in your opinion, would his opponents have been different? Would he have been matched harder, easier or the same?
Before someone points out that we are not mind readers or whatever. This is a subjective thread based on your own opinions if this scenario had taken place.
And Pacquiao and Floyd both being under GBP's promotional umbrella would've made as much difference as Floyd, Cotto, and Margarito being under Top Rank in the middle of the last decade. I don't remember seeing Mayweather-Cotto or Mayweather-Margarito, do you?
Its so sad that its easy to see who the common denominator is...Pac even under GBP still would not have had this fight signed yet.
cotto-sure
clottey-had just lost
margo-hadnt won since 2008
For Margarito, you guys need to make sure to start saying he hadn't won a meaningful fight since 2008. He had won his comeback tuneup earlier in 2010, so saying he hasn't won since 2008 will have Pactards jumping down your throat saying he had won his last fight.
Yup and he'd be accused of ducking the best ww's cotto, clottey and margarito.
Agreed.. You just cant satisfy the haters..
If Pac didnt fight those 3 he would of been ducking, now that Pac has fought them, they are washed up weight drained zombies.. Surprisingly Pac has fought more WW then Floyd..
Pacquiao-Mora on PPV ftw :boxing:
Where the hell are people getting the idea that GBP puts on better cards from? :lol1:
The last few GBP PPVs have been Marquez-Diaz II, Mosley-Mora, Hopkins-Jones II, and now Maidana-Morales...

of course..they wouldnt have been top rank fighters
I know that but I meant would the competition have been similar to what he faced, harder or easier?
