Don't know if a thread talked about that already, but the rematch will take place at the Bell Center in Montreal.
The date should be May 21.

That's a french link, sorry I can't find an english one.
Hopkins always delivers. In tha ring and at press-conferences. Hop-Pascal 1 was by far more exciting than some snoozer with young guns. Grandpa Hop will deliver in tha 2nd as well.
Also take not that the first fight was in Quebec City, not in Montreal, two different things guy.
My error...corrected.It is minor though, because I don't believe it matters if it is Quebec City or Montreal....Hopkins gets a fair shake in all of Canada I believe. Canada didn't screw him over,I feel the judge from Belgium did...
After Pascal's piss poor job he pulled that night,no Canadian is proud of him!
It's where the fight is supposed to be, it makes the most sense to have the fight happen in Canada. Wouldn't be too happy if I were Hopkins though considering what happened last time.
I believe Canada is relatively fair-it was the Belgium judge Daniel van Wiele who is to blame. He always finds a way to bring it closer in the favour of the hometown guy (just look up his history)....sad thing is,he could only give Pascal a draw at best!
GBP are ensuring that neutral judges will be there and Canada were cheering Hopkins after the fight-they knew Hopkins won despite the poor judging on behalf of Belgium....as well as those changed scorecards!
Let's hope Pascal saves boxing from Hopkins' style.
WTF???? If you thought Pascal was the exciting one in that fight then you must like watching grass grow.Pascal was running for the majority of the fight while the old man was hunting him down and beating his ass...Pascal thought a Hopkins fight would be easy based on him looking poorly in his rematch with Roy Jones....by the middle rounds,Pascal looked like he seen a ghost and was running faster than a girl getting ready to wet herself on the way to the toilet!
Even Canadians boo'd him after his bullsh1t attempt at boxing...this time he better have top stamina and fight aggressive,or he will lose.Canada knows that their champs need to start acting like fighters instead of runners or cherry-pickers.

Hopkins should still win. I doubt Pascal can make the adjustments to win.
I agree.I believe that 5 months will not change Pascal's stamina greatly. He will gas out as usual and Hopkins will show the same success.I would anticipate that Hopkins fights slightly less aggressive for the first few rounds, but starts going to the body earlier as well.I think Pascal's last close call won't do him any favours in the eyes of neutral judges this time.Canada is fair, but sometimes they have stupid refs or get stupid judges in...no different than anywhere else.... not to mention they seem to have a good crowd of fans.
Because the Judges already fuct it up once.
Golden Boy Promoter is the promoter in that fight, as opposed to the first fight. They made a big offer in the table that group GYM couldnt match. It means GBP will put the judges they want in this fight, if anything it's Pascal that has to be worried about the judges, not Hopkins.
And like another poster said they had no choice to make the fight in Montreal cause they know the fight will be sold-out in less than one day in Quebec, in USA it would be empty.
I felt that Hopkins won the first fight, but I also have a lot of respect for Pascal, I just hope that the guy that deserve the win will actually win the fight, and that we'll not see another controversy, in favor of Hopkins or Pascal.
I don't mind it being in Montreal. The fans boo'd Hopkins during his entrance, but were cheering for him after the fight....Hopkins truly made fans that night in Montreal and even the hometown crowd thought he won.I believe he gets a fair shake in Montreal-just keep the Belgium judge far away from any hometown fight....not Montreal's fault that there was an idiot judge.
Because the Judges already fuct it up once.
FACT: Hopkins won more rounds then Pascal
FACT: Due to two knockdowns, based on proffessional ten point must scoring, the draw was the correct decision. The neutral judge had it a draw, along with the Canadian. Only the american thought Hopkins won, so you cant cry foul play.
See your a philly fan. My boys are the Canucks. Wanna make a points bet on who wins the presidents trophy this year?
Hopkins should still win. I doubt Pascal can make the adjustments to win.
I have to disagree. I can't see Hopkins fighting a better fight than in December, and I can't see Pascal fighting a worse fight. I see it 116-111 Pascal (1 point taken from Hopkins late in the figh when he sees he's losing and wants to make something happen). Not claiming it's the truth, but that's my feeling.
Why wow?
Name me one city in the US that would have sell more tickets than Montreal?
The Bell Centre capacity for a boxing match is 22,000+
More money = wise choice.
Montreal is starting to be the mecca of fighting sports. Boxing and UFC.
People are crazy in the stands while in the state you could hear a cricket.
Because the Judges already fuct it up once.
Another 16,000 in attendance.
Another fast start by Pascal.
Another late rally by Hopkins.
Another draw.
Another "I was robbed" tirade by Bernard.
You read it here first.
