The way people talk about him, you'd think if he trained properly he'd 'pizza face' Tommy Hearns
Virtually everytime he goes against top opposition he gets beaten. He's even lost to Clottey and Baldomir
He gets destroyed by guys like Pac/Bradley/Berto/Maidana now, or at anytime. JMM may have slid a bit, but even he will probably beat Judah
Look at him in his prime - almost getting sparked by BALDOMIR of all people:

See how he uses his slickness to avoid Baldomirs punches later in the round :hail:

It's unreal how many shots this guy has had at being a top level fighter - and how much faith people still have in him
// Rant Over
He beat Cory Spinks who had just defeated prime Mayorga who had just defeated prime Forest who had just defeated PRIME MOSLEY who had just defeated prime DE LA HOYA, etc...
Elite status sealed...
to be fair Ive heard a few people say that Mayorga was robbed in the Spinks fight, but only have watched a few rounds of their fight so I cant personally say.
He beat Cory Spinks. He never fought Margarito. Undisputed my ass.

zab judah was undisputed welterweight champion at one time. that sealed his elite status imo.

he probably could have been better if he wasnt trained by his father, and wasnt so cocky.
still a legitimate fighter, no doubt. the reason he keeps getting so many shots is that in each of his fails he still does well. not many people were able to frustrate Mayweather as he did, and he busted up Cotto pretty bad.
he has his flaws however, and most complete fighters pick up on them and expose them.
I do and always have. I always thought his father/trainer was part of his problem. Not that he's terrible but doesnt seem to understand having a fight strategy. Throw Pernell in the mix and who knows. Im excited about him. It aint everyday a fighter that size has extreme speed combined with one punch KO power.
And here's one of the 4 fans :rofl:
Pernell can't fight for him. That's just publicity.
Judah has fast hands and thats about it. And hes at the end of his physical prime now, so i can only see it being downhill from here
