Kessler planning to fight Bute In Oct/Nov clash

In a week the dane will be in Montreal, when Bute are facing Brian Magee. They are hoping to come to an agreement for a fight in October. - I’m flying to Canada with my promotor Kalle Saurland to see Bute in a fight, my plan is to box in june and it would be great if we could make something happend with Bute, says Mikkel Kessler. Promoter Kalle Sauerland is optimistic - Bute want to meet Kessler, and Kessler want to meet Bute. They have invited us to Canada to talk about it, so it’s looking real good, says Kalle Sauerland. There have been some disagreement in the past about who’ll the rights to fight the winner of the Super Six but a fight between Kessler and Bute would settle that and the looser of the fight could meet the looser of the Super Six final. - I’m the WBC Champion Emeritus, and I want to prove myself against the best. Bute is a big name, and it would be a big fight not just for the fans in Denmark and Canada – but in the whole world. I would think that his head is sparring with Tim Bradley's head in order to refine the use of head to the extent that they make it look like an "accidental" headbutt every time :D Bradley has never intentionally headbutted any fighter,if you watch both Bradley fights that were stopped due to headbutts it was his opponents who caused the butts..Campbell was the fighter in motion when the heads came together which should tell ya its campbells fault the butt happened in the first place..Devon was clinching all night and caused most of the butts threw out the fight..Bradley is not dirty,Ward maybe debatable..

I think I do remember that..But I should re-watch it cause in the moment it did not seem intentional..But I still say if ya know a fighter has some questionable tactics you have to be ready to do something about it..No?? There are rules in boxing. One of them being that it is illegal to lead with your head. Apparently that rule doesnt get enforced in Joakland where Ward could get away with bloody murder.

Hard to tell if a headbutt is intentional... But the fact that it happens all the time with Ward makes him look dirty. And you should rewatch the Bika fight, at some point he hits Bika with an elbow that I can't even pretend wasn't intentional. Around rounds 7-8 if I recall. I think I do remember that..But I should re-watch it cause in the moment it did not seem intentional..But I still say if ya know a fighter has some questionable tactics you have to be ready to do something about it..No??

I think Ward has surpassed Hopkins as the dirtiest fighter in boxing today. I would think that his head is sparring with Tim Bradley's head in order to refine the use of head to the extent that they make it look like an "accidental" headbutt every time :D

I'm gonna disagree here,Ward is fighting his fight I've never seen anything that I really felt was dirty..Its a fight guys not dance,you don't like what a fighter is doing to you in there do something about it..I have never seen Ward throw an intentional butt so I won't say he is dirty..As far as Peds go,if Ward is on umm Donaire is on umm too.. Hard to tell if a headbutt is intentional... But the fact that it happens all the time with Ward makes him look dirty. I think Ward has surpassed Hopkins as the dirtiest fighter in boxing today. He's also a heavy PED-using suspect given the fact that he continues to work with ex-BALCO CEO and convicted drug criminal Victor Conte, despite claiming the opposite. I must have missed that fight,I'm gonna watch it I want to see how Bute handles Bika..But I hope the Kssler fight comes off would be a good fight imo..The question will be how much did Kessler eye really heal,and will the slightest touch open it back up.. I guess sparring will tell. Kessler hasn't sparred for nearly a year now because of the injury.

I am fan and supporter of anyone using PEDS to improve performance and enhance our experience of a fight. I am not a fan of purposeful headbutts though. Well I want as level a playing field as possible. So maybe we should have a commision doctor roid up both fighters so we can see boxers endure superhuman beatings. :)

Got to give props to Kessler, he fights the best. No one wanted a piece of Bute, but Kessler is willing to take him on. Kessler by TKO in 9'th. Bute is good, just overated. You mean Bute wants no piece of a good fighter.

You know what. If Magee pulls off the upset, Kessler vs. Magee would be quite big. People havent forgotten how exiting Magee was against Larsen and how he quite effortlessly destroyed Kessler's longtime danish rival. For sure I'd love to see Magee destroy Bute and I mean destroy. The judges are very much Bute's people so Magee needs the big KO. would love him to win, have to respect Magee for turning down a Sartisan fight to go for Bute, he coulda tried to get an easier way to a world title but he said on the news the other day he wants to be the #1 SMW, not a strap holder. Fair play. Bute being rated so highy annoys me concidering the opposition he's faced compared to the S6 so if Magee wins it'll be doubly sweet. Its a long shot, but Im hopefull. Not optimstic though! I havent heard but Im guessing Bute has a rematch clause if Magee can somehow pull a win out of the bag, so a Kessler fight might have to wait.
