Ricardo is very fat not in real shape , he will be a sitting duck, if Josua went down in the first which is more stronger than Mayorga imagine mayorga , a guy who smoke and drink alcohol, that body will not resist constant movement, in the conference he was already tired, Mayorga down before the four round, i agree with Emanuel "you going to be on the floor by KO"
Will I pay for it? No. I wasn't planning on it either, but I'm Nica. Some family members will be coming to watch it and my uncle will buy it.
My girl is Nicaraguense too... Personally, she hates Mayorga. I won't buy the fight but I will watch it at a party with her family. Half of them love the guy and half of them think he's too arrogant for his own good...
I wish they had to TV's so we could watch the Martinez fight too.. Guess I'll be DVRing that one.
Think the all the trash talk will have Cotto coming out swinging? A few weeks ago, I would have said "not a chance in hell" but I really think Mayorga's gotten to him. He might try to get to him early, which could seriously backfire.
Better fight than I think most people are saying.
Real question is: Will you pay for it? I bet Cotto still does good numbers...
I agree 100%, i never would have thought such a cool headed guy like Cotto would get into it like he has with Mayorga. Mayorga has indeed gotten to him, don't know if it will effect him in the ring though.

I'll probably be out on Sat night, hope i don't miss anything spectacular.
Oh no, Mayorga's a beast there's no doubt, but he's also very inconsistant. I honestly thought this was a great fight to see just where Cotto is as a fighter at this stage of his career.
If he can stay calm and box Mayorga then he could get him out of there in the later rounds.
If he hasn't improved much or at all and Mayorga is able to get to him Cotto will have some trouble, even worse if he comes looking for a KO early.

Co-sign.
We didn't see much of him the last time and we can't gauge whether Steward did a good job in improving Cotto.
I'd be very impressed if Steward has made a serious difference this late in Cotto's career. It's rare to see a fighter make serious and needed changes in their style this late in their career.
A new and improved Cotto? I'm sure you will get that. I know this is a common comment lately, but I'm not sure he has that passion anymore...
If Mayorga is as conditioned as he said he is in the press conference then I think he could hang and open up a cut on Cotto. Not sure you're giving Mayorga's ferocity enough credit.

Mayorga is always a question mark as to how he's prepared he really is. I hope Cotto keeps a cool head and outboxes Mayorga for the first half of the fight and stops him late. If Mayorga has gotten into his head and he's comes out throwing bombs he will have some problems.
What i'm really hoping to see in this fight is a new and improved Cotto.
They are both going for the KO. If Mayorga's really in good conditioning, it'll be a late stoppage. If he's not, it'll be early KO for him.
And I think he only needed to shed 2 pounds here. Not a good sign, but I give him an A for effort.

Yes but JOSHUA, was off balance, hence falling down from a jab.
So what are you saying, if Mayo lasts more than six Cotto is SHOT? Or Mayo is on ROIDS?
LOL
