This has been mentioned, and tbh it's not so out of the realm of possibilities. Huge upside and risk for both fighters. A championship at another weight class would be a real feather in JMM's cap. How does everyone see this playing out? Poll to follow, please discuss!:boxing:
judah by majority decision... marquez just don't have the same speed and movement above 135...
the higher the weight, and so is the piss drinking... its just exact science, constant as gravity...
So you all really think that the only reason Marquez looked so bad against Mayweather is because of Mayweather? Is that what you are all saying? Because what I saw was a veteran career featherweight that didn't handle the weight well at all. He didn't have his speed, he didn't have his reflexes, and he didn't have his power.
But all that will change fighting Judah. He'll somehow be able to carry that weight without any repercussions this time. Right.
Judah will probably win the first 4 rounds and JMM would win the middle and late rounds. JMM would win by decision and I would not be surprise if Judah knocks him down and JMM starts picking him apart after the KD.
Marquez takes this. He does really well against southpaws and Judah's defense is not good at all. He is easily broken down mentally. I got Marquez and 1 billion points on him.
You people seriously forgot how slow Marquez was weighing 142. Unbelievable.
Mayweather is not Judah!!!!! JMM will have no problems with Judah, JMM by UD
Judah is incredibly fast, and we have seen that Marquez weighing in at around 140 is slow and lacking reflexes. He'd be game but Judah definitely wins, and maybe stops Marquez.
You people have already forgotten how slow Marquez was against Mayweather. 140 isn't that far off from what he weighed in at for that fight.
So you must really believe all that sh1t in your sig then, huh?

What if Judah fights on that backfoot in his newly transformed Pernell Whitaker style.. JMM being the smaller man with arguably slower man with slightly less pop.. Could Marquez really track Judah down? I wonder if JMM really has the footspeed to go get him. .
Pernell style...right.:fing02:
Marquez doesn't need to find Judah. It's the other way around. Judah knows the longer it lasts, the more trouble he's in because JMM is more accurate and throws more. Every round that goes by, he gets deeper in a hole. If Judah can't knock out JMM in the first 6 rounds (and what do you think the chances of that are?), he loses by TKO in 9 or 10...Zab's only hope is that JMM's age catches him all at once on the night they fight. Which can happen, but probably won't.
jmm has the better skills but zab is faster, stronger, bigger and add the height and reach advantage will be too much for jmm to handle so i say that this will be an easy win for zab.
I would surprisingly be interested in this fight
Might give us an insight as to how JMM would take some of pac's punches etc
Il go for JMM via Decision
JMM is just too good and doesn't rattle under pressure. By round nine or so, a flagging and increasingly desperate Zab Judah is overwhelmed by yet another counter-flurry of precision power punches and the ref mercifully steps in for the stoppage.:boxing:

I can't pick Judah to win the fight, but I can envision a fight where Judah turns it into somewhat of a stinker against a slightly less athletic JMM??
I think this would make for a very interesting fight.. But then again Judah makes for a very interesting fight against any of the top 140 lbers.. Stylistically Judah matches up exciting against damn near everyone.
What makes this fight interesting is the clash of styles. Considering this would be at 140 and jmms chin/judah's power and speed, this would be a war while it lasted. I see jmm getting hurt but he is too smart to get finished off and i see this going to the scorecards for jmm. I didn't watch the zab fight, but i want to see this newfound "sweet pea style" defense i keep hearing about.
