Will the Ortiz fight slow down the critics?
Let me get this out here now I'm a big Andre Berto fan, been since the figueroa fight, He has loads of natural Talent, Handspeed second to only Manny and Floyd, Great power, one of the truest and mean uppercuts I have seen, his footwork could use improvement along with his defense, even though he does have good head movement, he has been down a couple times but got right back up, kind of like the warrior Marquez. but he is still young and has a lot to learn. Moving on, I have seen some criticism about him resume and to be honest I agree to an extent. He does have good names, Like Collazo, Hernandez , Estrada, Trabant, Quinatana, and Urango. Mind you I only said good. he does not have any great names. To his defense he did have a fight with mosley and was trying to get a second and his name was one of the final three for Manny. Only one boxer has ever called him out and that's Cintron. To his defense Cintron only called him out after his move to light middle, as far as I know, Berto has said he would fight him, but this is mostly on Dibella who is reluctant to make the fight happen. Also he can only fight the WBC mandates regardless of who they are, or he gets stripped and I have always thought it was bull**** and crooked. Plus after Mosley, Pac and Floyd the Welter division is kind of thin, I have also seen criticism about him fighting only LWW, actually since the Noberto Bravo fight Ortiz would make his second LWW,the other of course being Urango. So of Berto beats Ortiz in stunning fashion, which I believe he will in under 7, and precedes to sign the next fight against A top contender from either Ww or LMW will the criticism slow down? If so, what boxer would you like to see him in the ring with next. Please dont make dumb condescending comments, respect my opinion and I will yours.
