This fight makes most sense for both guys involved.
Floyd can win another title in a higher division and cement his ATG status.
Canelo is still young, a loss to the #1 P4P guy won't hurt his marketability - if anything it will be is "De La Hoya" break out fight to put him into super stardom.
It's also an intriguing 50/50 chance fight with Canelo being the biggest puncher Floyd has ever fought.
There is no other fight out there that can be made that woud make as much $$$$$
If you actually read the first post instead of randomly replying to threads you would see I have explained the reasons why.
i read it, so how would beating canelo cement floyds atg status?? saul doesnt need floyd to get popular either, hes more popular now than floyd was at 20 and may vs pac would be biggr.
its stupid really and i tried to dignify it by getting involved and now i look stupid for responding to a stupid thread, thanks.:boxing:
this is a stupid thread! why would floyd move to 160 and why would he fight some 20 year old and not the top of th division and if he wants money, then just fight pacquiao.:boxing:

The thread is about Canelo, you need to stick to the topic my friend.

The only sense it makes is money, but in reality its worse then Pac-Margo, alot worse.
And the biggest puncher comment, jeez, he couldn't get Matthew Hatton out there, Matthew ****ing Hatton!
please dont say alvarez will win. no way no how. you simply dont know boxing if you think el canelo beats floyd. floyd shut him out 12-0 EASY win...saul doesnt move his head at all floyd will popshot him all night it would look like a mixture of floyd-gatti and floyd-baldomir

Your crazy if yyou think thats true...
They said the same thing with Corrales and he proved them wrong, even with Oscar who is a natural 154 he was able to hold his own.
so you think mayweather could move up to 160 and keep the same speed and power???
mayweather is the best fighter along side pacquiao, but thts too much weight for him. canelo wins.:boxing:
