Klitschko sells more tickets than Pacquiao even against no names in Germany.
It's just that boxing is so much bigger in Europe right now than in the US. Guys like Abraham, Sturm, and the Klitschko's can easily sell out any stadium in Germany if you give them the right opponent. If Germany was a fairer boxing country, top U.S. boxers wouldn't be so reluctant to go fight there.
If you have an access to any of the European based boxing websites with most of the posters are Europe based, try to make a poll.
The fight's in Germany (Klitschko's backyard)
Klitschko against a credible opponent VS. Pacquiao against a credible opponent, same day, who would sell more seats and PPV buys? If you took Haye for Klits, then you have to go by Floyd for Pacman. I would suggest to just use "credible opponents" for both for a level playing field. Just brace yourself though, because you might not like the result...
Pac would sell about 15K seats in the Philippines if they priced the tickets the way they're gonna price the Klitschko-Haye tickets.
Not 100K but maybe more than 20K. Thrilla in Manila site the Araneta Colisum can only accomodate 24K.
Ofcourse Klit vs Haye will outsell Pac in Germany.
Klitschko and Haye would never outsell Pac in the United States even though he is not American. the point is Pac is more popular than Klits and Haye combined.
Pac can even sell 100K seats in the Philippines twice a year.
Pacquiao could get 100k people in the Philipines to go to his fight, but only if the price of a ticket was less than 2 gold fish. Seriously, are there 100k people in the Philipines who make more a year than a ticket to a championship fight costs? i really dont know
lol they have sold out concerts there for artists like friggin Justin Timberlake. It ain't Africa. Of course they can afford tickets. What ignorant cunts like you see televised on tv is a selected percentage.
Depends. Do you think the Klitschkos can sell more than 500 tickets in the USA?
I think, scratch that, know that no network outside of EPIX or whatever it is even wants to carry their fights because of a lack of public interest (and contractual issues). Personally, I don't mind the brothers' fights and even though the vast majority of them end in KOs, they're viewed as 'boring' by the American public.
I think that goes without saying. The Klits can sell out a 60,000 seat arena in Europe and have been for quite sometime now.
I think if they were to hold Pac vs Mayweather in Cowboys Stadium, it probably will fill all the available seats (for a Boxing match). Wlad vs Haye will def fill 60,000 seats in Germany. Can't argue that.
Answer this question honestly-
Who would sell more tickets (and PPVs)?
Pacquiao fighting in Germany or the Klits fighting in Dallas (or anywhere in America for that matter)?

2 brits fighting in britain > Filipino fighting in US.
now imagine if pac was a slick american
That's because Germany has like four fighters that are any good.
If there was a stadium in the Philippines that could hold 100,000 people Pac could fill it fighting David Diaz in a rematch.
Don't you know David Diaz is a celebrity there? Here's him and Mayor Pinol.

So pls omg europe attendance proves absolutely sh1t.
?isnt hasselhoff canadian?
