And he was lucky against Andrade in the first fight. '' '' Anybody can look a million peso against the dross his promoters have lined up for him. '' '' Take Magee, i knocked him out 4 years ago and he is perhaps the best fighter Bute will have faced to date. I had a snapped thumb from Round 1 onwards too. '' '' Well if Bute is as good as everyone keeps saying then he should take apart and stop Magee. But i forecast that Magee has the ability to give Bute a lot of aggro. '' '' Magee needs to dictate his own terms, grab the fight by the scruff of the neck. He is experienced, can punch a bit and hasn't got a flashy record to protect. If he can pull the trigger and not get caught with a silly shot he has everything to play for. '' '' Maybe Lucian Bute is concentrating more on looking good for his big occasion on Showtime, than thinking about Magee. '' '' I'd definitely crack open a Guinness if he did the business. '' '' But the reality is that Mikkel Kessler is the deserving fighter in this whole equation, not the likes of Bute. '' '' Bute has been sitting pretty in his Canadian comfort zone while we all have career shortening wars in genuine fights. Bute has to get in line. As much as I hate trash talking, you can't say what Froch says is untrue. He's always taking on the best available opposition in his weight class. IMO he's the most underrated British fighter.

Real talk from Carl. I love how he's calling out Kessler as his next opponent should he win the tournament. So many fighters talk big but look to take only the easiest fights. Froch is a throwback fighter; the real deal. co-sign....Froch is good for the sport...hate him or love him but you HAVE to respect him

Ordinarily I hate loudmouthed trashtalkers who put down other fighters but in Froch's case: - He backs up his talk - His talk is always true - His talk is always funny and to the point Froch is a throwback. Froch is a G. And he lives in a ghetto house. This may be the best post ive ever read on boxingscene. :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:

in that case, he might rematch Miranda!!!!! whats your point? miranda was a very risky fight at that point in wards career, he was just stepping up in competition and took on one of the deadliest punchers in all of boxing. then he went on to fight kessler which most ppl considered a huge risk, even though i personally knew it would be an easy fight. now he has abraham and either johnson or froch. after that hes going after bute, who is one of the best guys in the division. its not his fault he was left out of the S6, he might be better than anyone in it. in fact ward has been taking risks ever since he was an amateur, he stepped up a weightclass so the US would get another man in the olympics. there are less weightclasses in the amateur ranks and he ended up fighting much bigger men, and still won gold.

I know, can u imagine if Ward wins the S6, i can imagine the conversation now, "right, thats enough good wins to dine out on for the next 6 years, lets call up Andrade" your an idiot. theres no reason to assume ward would do that. in fact ward has as much will to be great and belief in himself as anyone in boxing. fukking troll..

Bute is easily the most over-rated fighter in boxing right now. He is like the Andre Berto of the supermiddleweight division. Undefeated chump who hasnt fought anyone. My top SMWs are 1. Carl Froch 2. Andre Ward 3. Andre Direll 4. Some Canadian Chump 5. Arthur Abraham in terms of opponents yes.....but in terms of what he brings to the table...def not. My order is: 1. Ward 2. Bute 3. Froch 4. Dirrell ........... Froch should worry about Johnson....i know he's ancient, but Carl really doesn't have any inside game at all..........

Carl Froch has some big brass balls and a pretty good resume...wins and losses...but he should be careful lest Bute call him out. Bute will beat Carl Froch.....i'd put down a big bet with real $$$ on that.

I thought Froch won the fight, just. But i also think Dirrell beat Carl, so it sort of evened itself out, although i'm sure Andre would disagree.

I'd love to see Froch - Kessler II Doesnt it feel like Froch WON that fight? He was the older guy and left without a scratch while Kessler was a bloody mess. Id rather see Froch move up to LHW than to face someone he already beat.
