Floyd always loves to get a mental edge on his opponents by talking trash and playing mind games. He gets his opponents mad or tries to put doubt into his opponent's head before a fight. This is obviously what he's trying to do with Pac, question is, is it working?

the answer is he agreed to pacs 10 million dollar penalty for each extra pound then pac had the Im scared of needles excuse then he filed a law suit then he took a big fat sh** on his stupid fans by signing a fight against mosley (floyds 3rd left over) :lol1:
i really don't understand how anyone can even consider floyd's mind games doing anything positive for him.
I mean, look at what floyd's been doing lately and compare that to what Pac has been up to. While floyd jr is getting into trouble with the law and exhibiting random acts of roid rage and ranting on the net, Pac has become a successful politician, started already on the building of a hospital for sarangani (which he promised to do so during elections), is fighting against mosley, and very recently met the most powerful man in the planet, the president of the united states.
even floyd's family has been affected by floyd's "mind games". every once in a while, you hear from roger or floyd sr ranting again about Pac, going on and on saying, "Pac this.. and Pac that...". it seems they as a family can't seem to stop thinking about Manny.
heck, even floyd's friend 50 cent seems to have been affected as well with his nonsensical rants at twitter regarding Pac.
but do you hear anything about them from Manny? nope. the man is too busy living his life to the fullest. Sure, there are rumors of talks for a fight between them, but that's for his handlers to take care of and for them worry about.
so in short, all floyd's "mind games" succeeded in doing was to boomerang back to him and to give him, his family and friend nothing but bad publicity and further reinforce the public's already low regard for them.
^^^ i think this sums it all up.
Floyd does this to damage his opponents' egos, but this doesn't work with Pac. Pac is the only guy that has just as big, if not bigger ego than Floyd. The only difference is, Floyd's is obviously the more fragile of the 2. Pac's got the whole world on his nutz, Floyd's reluctance to fight him is only feeding his confidence. Plus, the PED accusations just made it worse. By accusing him of using PEDs, Floyd is basically saying, "there is no way you are this good, you MUST be cheating."
I think Floyd is good at what he does, only a fool wouldn't realize he actually plans what he says and intends it to break your focus. Some guys keep it quiet and some guys talk, that's just part of the game tho - Floyd's not the first and he won't be the last. But do I think it's working on Pac? No. I'm not getting any signs that it is, and maybe that's why Floyd keeps trying lol. Before every single one of Pacs fights the guy seems like he kicks into rant mode, and I don't think that makes his case any better, it just shows what he's TRYING to do.
See how your bias shows up? I didnt say seems different. I said is different. If it was playing right now you would hold fast to a clouded point of view rather than take head to the truth in front of you. Why debate if you cant admit simple truths. I can honestly say if I was Floyd's advisor I would have him react to media scrutiny way different from the way he has thus far. Not that he shouldnt be pissed at the way they try to handle him but he should atleast tuck his heart back under his sleeve a little.
i never said that you said it "seems" different. I'm the one who said it seems different. the way you react to a situation would significantly dictate its ultimate outcome.
because the outcome of both Pac and floyd's interviews are different, its easy to assume that they are treated differently. that may be true in some cases because one cannot avoid bias, but generally, BOTH money and pac go through the same media and are treated more or less the same.
in fact, one can say that at times, media is extra nice to the mayweathers. take roger and floyd sr for example. in the many times that they have been interviewed, were they ever asked questions that irritated them? were the interviewers overly aggressive in their questioning?
not really. based on the latest interviews that is. yet they still ranted on like lunatics. i could honestly say the interviewers were especially polite to them when asking them questions. polite AND respectful.
yet the mayweathers still came out like a bunch of nut jobs.
you yourself said that if you were floyd's adviser, you would tell him to act differently.
that is an admission that floyd jr failed miserably in his mind games in that even an outsider and a fan of his can see his massive failure.
compare that to how Pac handles himself and how he practices self-control in dealing with the low-life, gangsta wannabe attitudes of the mayweathers.
In short, Pac has mastered the art of ZEN BOXING. Which in my opinion is the art of fighting your opponent inside AND outside the ring.
in other words, Manny Pacquiao officially mindf***ed floyd jr. in his own game.
you should add two more Blah's to your name because you aint talkin bout sh*t worth listening to.
right, im sure it's not just cuz your a oversensitive mayweather fan that got butthurt
*looks at sig* oh wait,
The whole Mayweather family has already lost th fight before the fight. The Mayweathers have already lost the mind game. They eat, sleep, breathe and live Pacquiao. They can't keep his name out ther mouth and Pacquiao just continues to ignore them.
Floyd has already lost the mind games.
Floyds mind games with Pacquiao? :lol1: What has happened to both of these fighters since the first negotiations? The actions/accomplishments of both of these individuals speaks for itself.

Floyd Mayweather is an absolute simpleton.
Thats why the easiest way out of the fight was to say no to Mannys dumb ass 10 mill weight clause , nobody would have said anything , but he said YES and it was Manny leaving saying NO ,,,,, anyway you want to cut it up you little chocolate coated cookie , it was Manny walking out of the fight and he still is by fuking with full testing !!!!!
Floyd is renowned for not taking certain fights. This was just another tough fight for him to avoid. As for Manny running from tests, that's just another reason why this fight didn't happen.
I think it's obvious Floyd is a mental midget. He would have ducked Manny and retired if it wasn't for the fans giving him **** for not taking the fight. You add that to the fact that Manny is getting all this attention, something Floyd has been starving for, you got Floyd acting like a jealous attention whore.

Well there is an obvious difference in the way they are handled. Pac can give a half ass answer and they dont push. If Floyd is respectful and half answers a question they push a little harder because they hope it will be a rant coming. Then it goes from "Interview:Mayweather Jr" to Floyd blasts the media again. Look at the interviews on ESPN and PTI and tell me the way they werent conducted differently.
they "seem" to be conducted differently simply because Pac doesn't allow himself to be pushed around unlike floyd jr who seem to be unable to handle pressure.
pac answers the questions immediately, whereas floyd takes his time and eventually doesn't answer the question at all.
people say pac plays dumb. i can't read pac's mind so i can't say anything about it. but even IF he's playing dumb, it only means that he's using the tools available to him to manipulate things to his favor.
floyd jr just flails about like a fish out of water.
and then he complains afterward.
so who looks pathetic now? who is actually winning the mind game here?

Its because Pacquiao plays dumb, calling steroids "i dont take any medicine" get the **** out of here. He just playing the humble no understand english foreigner role and thats his cover to not answer tuffmedia questions.
Are media outlets asking Pacquiao questions? or Are Roger and Floyd sr calling Pacquiao press conferences at their homes? Use common sense brotha. Reporters are finding them and their consistently giving the same answers. People say they're tired of hearing the Mayweathers when what they really should be tired of the dead horse beating media asking the same questions. Why is the concensus that Roger is looking for a camera when they are seeking him at his place of business and on his personal time?
media are ALSO asking Pac questions. heck, even during one of Pac's promotional tours for his fight with mosley someone asked him about his fight with Floyd jr.
just compare how he answers them and how the mayweathers answer them. while Pac is very careful of what he says and always talks respectfully, the mayweathers talk about him like they're on crack.
one answers with carefully thought responses and with respect, the others answer like they're half drunk with rage or "A-side meth". who do you think was affected here? common sense dude.
both pac and floyd are celebrities and neither can escape the constant, nagging questions behind their non-fight.
the difference is how each handles it and we can all see the results.

Floyd I think is finally realizing that he has maxed out when it comes to fans. I always thought a fighter can get the edge before the bell ever rings. Its smart and you know it too. As for Pac beating him you wont put to much money on that Im sure. It just sounds good and makes you look like a genius if it happens. When the fight happens I'll put up all my points and you just put up half that and call it a bet.
ah, so we're back to the flomo paradox.
manny's such an easy fight, but still got to take the extra tests.
