Why not make this? It makes sense. Austin Trout isn't a bum at all, and he worked over Canelo's brother so this would not only be a chance to avenge the loss, but Canelo can also become a unified champion at 20. And this belt wouldn't be complete s**t like his current one is.

this fight will actually be good for canelo. if he can't beat this guy, then he is deff not going to last long in his division as that champ. a hard lesson learned win or lose, plus the whole brother thing, i think this would be a great fight for canelo. hopefully he gets a worthy opponent next, he needs the challenge.

Golden boy won't go anywhere near Trout. Of course they wouldn't. That would be stupid on their part. But at the same time its personal for Canelo. If he goes to them and tells them he wants the fight, I'm sure they'll do it. They wouldn't want any bad blood with their top prospect.

It makes perfect sense to make this fight. Trout is still a legitimate fight in the division and would be a big test for Alvarez...but at the same time he isnt quite a Cotto. plus the whole brother thing adds to the fight. It should happen. ...how the **** does Trout have the belt though. worthless ass WBA with their super champ bs...

I'd watch it. Same here. It could be competitive. Trout is certainly capable of outboxing him. Canelo would be forced to fight a smarter fight.

This belt would be just as shit because Cotto is the real WBA 154 lb. champ. But at least he actually would earn it, rather than fighting a WW with absolutely nothing but heart that isn't even ranked at 154 by any of the organizations.
