Well obviously there's going to be no Mayweather; so no Mayweather vs Pac guys: but they managed to pick up David Haye: so Haye vs the Klitschkos is nice: they picked up Bradley as well, but no Khan or Maidana; Gamboa's on the roster, but no Juanma Lopez? Donaire's in, but absolutely no bantamweights otherwise? No Juan Manuel Marquez either? Rosterwise, it seems EA is halfway there, I just hope the CAB is something that was improved on from the last installment so we can make up for the lack of fighters included: gameplay seems interesting: I hope its worth the 60 dollar price tag: anybody getting it? Feel free to share thoughts on it as well
he must have asked the programmers to random testing all the way through the creation of the game with no cut off then.
:lol1:..
Seriously though..May asked for $$$$$ and to be on the cover of the game..
Can someone tell me how good the created players are? I don't care about the EA roster, as I mostly played with downloaded user created players in Round 4.
I saw a interview about the game where the reason Mayweather is not in the game was over they could not meet the demands he wanted.

I played the demo and wasnt too impressed. Yes or no, is it better than fnf4?
Better than FN4 for sure homie.. Has it's flaws, just as every other game does.. but if you love boxing.. the game is a must IMO.
I played the demo.....
And i dont like it compared to FN4 ..... I feel like there is less control over the boxer, maybe i need to get used 2 it....
And i prefered the health and stamina bars....rather than just stamina

Mayweather is in there, you have to unlock him from vacation.
The Champ mode is an improvement, but not much has changed regarding the other aspects of the game, it's pretty even.
Thanks homey, I guess I'll pick it up today. I'll start playing it after I win the NBA championship on 2K11

did he want in-game OSTs before u can fight against him?
I've had it for 2 weeks now, completed the Champ mode recently, one thing I can't stand is the referee getting in the way at crucial points.
During some fights you have objectives such as avoid a fighters left-hook, you can't when the ref keeps skimming past the screen distracting you, they should make him invisible when he blocks the view.
Also it's quite rock em sock em still, though it's been cut down with the additional of fatigue for punches and movement, but you can smash some guy in the jaw like 5 times in a row from counters and nothing.
You have to adjust the sliders. You can get it pretty close to a sim if you jack the power up and turn the stamina down. Then again, I just went 7 rounds of rock'em sock'em between Balboa and Marciano with something like 700 total punches landed, so there's the possibility of a ridiculous brawl. But I did Cotto-Mayweather and actually ended up with perfect compubox numbers, something like 230/800 for Cotto and 240/600 for Mayweather.
After I used the credit I got with amazon I got it for 9.95 and a code of a young foreman. I consider it way worth it. Expecting my delivery today. Hopefully you guys hope on PS3 and we can play online.

Going to game stop once I get off from work... I love boxing so much I gotta buy the game for the support, even though I'm not that excited based on the reviews.
I heard the Story Mode is good but Career Mode is virtually unchanged and the training routines are harder...I mostly played Career Mode so I probably won't be getting it...
Not shelling out $60 for a story mode and a few new boxers...
Haye is on the cover of the UK release. The roster is similar to FNR4 with a few extras, they could really do with some good current boxers to download like those mentioned above, they won't though, they'll have some oldies cos they can't afford Mayweather, Marquez. I was hoping the career mode would be better than the last game.
I'm getting it. The roster is a bit dissapointing as well as the fact that you can't fight in the clinch. Other than that it looks and plays pretty good. Really hope CAB is better and A.I. settings are adjustable though.
