Mayweather Jr -V- Prime Tito Trinidad @ 147lbs : Who Wins?

I think that Mayweather Jr would have been beaten by Tito because Tito was not only a big hitter but he had great reach and large frame. I dont see how Mayweather would have been able to last 12 rounds with Tito, He would have been running the whole fight like Oscar did late on. I love Tito, but he doesn't do well against pure boxers like Floyd. He got outboxed by B-Hop, Winky and DLH. Whitaker was coming off a 16 month hiatus, at a big size disadvantage, and 10 years older than Tito when they met up. And even then he still was able to win a couple rounds and go the full 12. Floyd wast good in a welterweight but Trinidad was a beast. Floyds power in 147 was above average at best. Welterweight was Tito's best weight. If Tito didnt go up in weight and stay in 147 lbs he would have retired undefeated.

Pernell was 175 years old when Tito fought him... I don't think Mayweather would have had enough power to get Tito's respect at Welterweight, which is why he avoided fights with big guys like Margarito/Williams. Trinidad would have ate a few Mayweather pulled counters and body shots to land his huge left hook right cross.

mayweather by ud. tito couldnt fukk with guys who are pure boxers. he would ko a guy like pacquiao though imo. Tito's game changing power gives him the edge in my book. People look at Trindad's losses to Bhop and Wink but keep forgetting those fights were at Middleweight. Tito was at his best at welterweight where he was undefeated.
