Donaire's KO/TKO- It takes huge cojones to do what he did. Try to roll the punch of a 1-puncho-KO guy like Montiel, while keeping his feet planted, and countering with a lefthook. He could've gotten ktfo himself, if he didn't get to time the punch coming from Montiel correctly.
you and turok are the only ones calling it a ko, are you sayin youre more credible than the ones in the boxing world?......lol
We understand on the books it's ruled a tko,but do you deny that dude was out and was not going to be able to get to his feet in the count time??That's why we refer to it being a KO that's what I was explaining in my last post..
Heya Romey ;)
I got Donaire.
The reason being, Montiel deserves huge credit for bouncing back up the way he did, plenty of guys would have never made that count, that KD would have KO'd a number of lesser fighters.
Also, Acosta was tired and hurt, Montiel was not.
Fair enough..But that punch sequence was crazy fire..
Come on man the viewer can see what is a KO and what is a tko..TKO I fig is when a fighter is still up or becomes defenseless and need the ref to stop the fight..A KO is hit by a punch and sent into the nether world which happen to Acosta's and Hatton both but it did not happen to Montiel..

no man, a KO is when a fighter doesn't beat the count.
rios acosta was the better fight but donaire's TKO was more spactacular.
you keep saying rios win was a ko when its not....a ref stoppage without being counted on is not a KO....it is NOT a KO.....read all the articles about it man, there only you and turok claiming the rios win as a ko......sh1t, even pac's win over hatton was a tko and it was hell of a lot more brutal than the rios rios tko....

Donaire was a tko,Rio's was a KO..That's my point bro you keep saying they were both tko's and that's not true..Cortez called it off before the corner stopped it..Acosta was out before he even hit the canvas..Which is why he got tagged with his hands down by two clean punches..

acosta didnt beat the ten count
It was only a TKO because his corner stopped it before Cortez got to the end of the 10 count. Shiit was a KO, Acosta was not going to beat the count.
so it was more of montiel having the better capabilty of getting back up than acosta then.....do you think had acosta got hit by the same punch as montiel, he would've gone back up?....do you think had montiel got hit by by the same punch , he would'nt have gone back up?...its impossible to ansswer that, but the fact that they were both tkos and that it took onlyone punch from donaire to get it done clearly showed which was the better tko....

TBH I was shock Montiel even got up..But Acosta had no shot at getting up,he was out before he even hit the canvas..Montiel was hurt on the canvas no doubt about it,and he was most likely back on his way there as well..But Donaire did not keep him there is the point,Rio's sent his man to the canvas there was noway Acosta was getting up..Don't kid ya self the Rio's KO was more brutal and more damaging long term..

does'nt mean it was a ko ....and do you think montiel would've had the chnace to get back up had the ref not stopped the fight?....pleaase!

Noway Acosta was KO'd,he had no chance of getting up..

acosta didnt beat the ten count
do you think had the ref not stopped the fight , montiel would'nt have gone down for the 2nd time and out?.....cmon man........both were tkos and it took rios longer againts an inferior fighter than a montiel....
