not the KO though i mean like actual fight who impressed you more
considering the opponent and **** like that...
i know everyones gonna say donaire though
hahaha
How can you say that Rios is gonna beat up when he steps up? He did step up. Acosta who stylistically would be consider a very hard boxer to beat(pure boxer), fought his best fight and got knocked out. If anything Rios showed that he can beat any type of fighter by conquering what is considered the toughest style to beat. Rios showed a lot!
I agree with this..Rios showed a lot last night,I wanna see him fight a Soto or a JMM..I wanna see Demarko fight Guerrero..
What makes Donaire more impressive was the wow factor of the knockout, but in reality, it was Rios that showed much more in his fight. Rios was being out classed and even hurt during the first part of the fight. It was amazing to watch him hold it together and not give up to win by KO late in the fight.
Brandon Rios doesn't work with Victor Conte, so there's something more REAL about his performance.
Brandon Rios does work with Conte.....lol both him in Donaire
and Donaire has been performing the way he is now long before he worked with conte
Everyone is gonna say Donaire, but it's even to me.Acosta had a 19 fight win streak, has defeated too undefeated contenders & was controlling that fight early.Donaire was bigger & the favorite coming in vs Montiel.Donaires 1 punch ko was spectacular no doubt. But Rios walking through fire to defeat a more skilled champion was just as impressive.
Rios!!!He put his man out,Montiel got up and the ref stopped it..So Rios had the better KO..
So because the ref stopped the fight it wasn't as good? If thats the case the corner is the one who stopped the fight in the rios fight and prevented him from even trying to get up....
Donaire could probably give Rios a run for his money even with the big size differential based on skill alone.
Rios would have lost had Acosta not deviated from his gameplan. Donaire dominated from the opening bell
What are you talking about?? Acosta didn't deviated from s hit, he was systematically broken down by Rios from the fifth and final tenth round. Acosta could have KO'd Rios in the third after hurting him badly but couldn't. No other gameplan could have made a difference for Acosta, he was as game as he has been in the past.
Some people dont know **** about boxing, IMO Acosta is a very skilled underrated fighter. Rios did not look as impressive as Donaire simply because Acosta is not the type of fighter Montiel is. Acosta is a strong punching boxer, who likes to hit and move and does not let his opponents look all that great. IMO Acosta would give any of the other 135 champions a tough fight!! Give credit to rios for beating a hell of a good fighter. Rios put him to sleep people!! Rios might be a little limited still in his boxing but he is young and will get a lot better!!!!!!

:lol1:
montiel >>>>>>acosta
you guys are impressed with rios' lack of skill but he still manages to win. that doesn't make any damn sense.
I'm referring to the "win" not the each of their "skills". Of course 'Nito is the better fighter, nobody is arguing that you fool.
so it's more impressive that rios is a severely limited fighter? lmao
A severely limited fighter that adjusted after getting rocked and almost put out by Acosta in round three to come back and completely destroy him from rounds 5-10? who are you man?
I will say Rios because Acosta is a lot more talented then Montiel
He has more talent that don't make him the better fighter..Montiel was more proven, the better win has to be Donaire..
