Pacquiao KO2 Hatton
Martinez KO2 P.Wil
Donaire TKO2 Montiel
I know the Donaire one is technically a Knockdown but, many argue that the fight should have been stopped there, so I put it in..
:op: :op: :op:
Hatton ate canvas too much to not expect that.
Donaires was impressive, but expect,(although not that early).
The Punisher's starching was a huge surprise,period.
to each its own....the Manny KO over Hatton was beauty and brutal...not saying that Sergio's over P.Will wasn't...BUT c'mon man, Sergio had 12 rounds against P.Will in the bank ALREADY.....thats more info on a dude than ANY video can give you....so based off that....I voted Manny starching Hatton :boxing:
Pac did a level 3 super special finish on hatton. Martinezs was an unseen hayemaker and donaires is a beautiful counter.
all 3 was amazing but i gotta go with pacs.
donaire-montiel hands down.
the other two KOs were both more brutal but the question was which is more impressive, and the most skillful KO was donaires by far. theres a saying in boxing "good fighters capitalize on their oponents mistakes, great fighters make them make those mistakes".
well donaire was the only one who did that, pac and martinez just capitalized on a long list of mistakes by hatton and williams.
ffs williams walked in a straight line, without moving his head, right into martinez' range, over reaching with a wide lead roundhouse left while keeping his right hand down. WTF! if u do that at the top level u are supposed to get KTFO.
hatton aswell except trade the reaching wide punch with a squared up upper body and the chin right up in the air. i struggle to decide whos more amateurish.
montiel did nothing wrong. it was tremendous timing, accuracy, boxing IQ and coordination on donaires part to figure out were montiels head was at when he threw his right and then roll the right and fire a left hook at the same time with his full bodyweight behind it. it was perfectly executed making for a punch impossible to see. it was the sweet science in all its glory lol. great stuff.
i voted martinez. donaire would be 2nd, as montiel had never been stopped either then pacquiaos, as hatton was stopped by floyd. hatton was probably down longer than pwill tho lol
Just some of the ****e being spoken in this thread.
Quite how Martinez could qualify as an "underdog" when in their previous fight he'd come on the wrong end of a controversial SD is beyond me...
A knockout doesnt qualify as a one punch knockout if the opponent was already hurt prior to the finishing punch.
But you know even collazo almost stopped hatton,so floyd beating hatton wasn't that impressive.
I know, and considering Hatton's weight was 140 and not 147, it makes Pac's win over him more impressive.
I forgot to say who I picked though. My pick was Martinez ko over Williams, because its the only one of those fights where I wouldnt have picked a stoppage win for either guy.
Pacquiao ko surprised me, but it wasnt as impressive because it wasnt a one punch knockout. Ricky Hatton was the only stoppage Floyd had in two yeras, so it wasnt out of the question Pac could stop him.
Martinez ko surprised me cause, while both proved the first fight they could knock each other out, they had showned neither of them could finish the other especially from one punch, and both had great chins.
Donaire ko didnt suprise me at all, both of them could stop the other without a prob.

Donaire KO was expected from most of the boxing fans, more technically sound KO.
Martinez KO was coming from underdog, most unexpected KO.
Pacman KO was most entertaining. Whole fight action packed and KO was coming.
completely agree... i would say donaire & martinez are the most impressive though, pretty equal, both on near undefeated fighters, ranked in top 10 p4p & never been ko'd.
pac was the best fight, but hatton had fallen before, the great thing about all 3 of them though is that they were in big important fights, that were supposed to be close, fight of the year candidates but ended in a very early, impressive knockout. which of course makes the winning fighter much more popular, great for the sport.
