You got the right promoter and you bring in money you get more opportunities than the next guy. Look at JCC jr and his shot at Zbik. It is all dollars and cents. 148-154 is a division! There is no such thing as the 154 pound weight division! There is such a thing as the junior middleweight division which is any fight that takes place between 154-148 pounds. so why not make junior middleweight* (148-150) for the people who dont wanna be in title fights with people who may weigh-in at 154, and then have junior middleweight (148-154) for everyone else. that way there can be more interim, emeritus, diamond and silver titles and maybe they can even unify the titles between jr middle* and jr middle but they might need to have a catchweight somewhere between 150 and 152. 151.75 i would imagine.
