There's not too much out there of him at the moment, but I like what I see judging from the couple of fights I've been able to get a hold of.
Right now, his blend of size, speed, and skill should allow him to do well at the weight. If he works on some things and improves, he'll dominate the division without a doubt.
Thoughts?
Cesar Seda Jr. is the best rican prospect out there. I like comparing him to Donaire with his physical attributes. Difference is that Donaire is the better offensive fighter, whereas Seda seems more devoted to defense.
His opponents's combined record is
279 w 14 avg
123 l 6 avg
18 d 1 avg
His best win was a 10 round shut out over the more experienced Carita Lopez.
He started boxing at the age of 19, and has koed 9 of his last 10 opponents.
Size and defense are his forte and his favorite punch is the straight left, which makes him deadly considering his size and length.
Really? He looks pretty polished for a kid who started so late.

I think he is the best "boxer" of all the Puerto Rican prospects that I know of. Good technician, he fights like Anselmo Moreno. Who are some other PR prospects out there anyways?
Jose pedraza
Tomas Dulorme
Jonathan "Mantequilla Gonzalez
Orlando Del Valle
Carlos Ivan velazquez
Many more, but off the top of my head thats all I can get right now bro...
What fight is this?
I've only seen versus Soto and Jose Lopez.
Thanks though, I will watch it.
i just googled him on youtube, he hasnt reaklly standed out to me because i never seen him fight, heard anything about him, or nothing lol i could be wrong, he seems to have an internet following, but there some good fighters out there with proven resumes. like Carlos Negron, Jonathan "Mantequilla" Gonzalez
Carlos Ivan Velasquez, MC Williams Arroyo, and Jonathan 'La Bomba' Gonzalez, ect.

here he is, he hasn't really standed out to me, in anyway. I say, there are better prospects out there than him, including Puerto Rican ones.
Gonna watch this one.

So far so good, only seen the Omar Soto fight. He covers up nicely, should work on his inside game/ right hook. Surprisingly and I didn't expect this, but he can fight pretty well going backwards, knows how to fight off the ropes a little, also knows how to tie up. What stood out the most was his jab, definitely someone to look out for.
Asian chicks FTW!
I agree that he needs to add more punch variety. I'm watching the Lopez fight, he fights on the inside sporadically and you can tell it's not his bread and butter. He does cover up well, but I'd like to see him use more upper body movement.
Having said that, he has a good jab and controls range really well and steps out of range well. His feet look good as well.
All in all, I agree, one to look out for.
And yes, Asian chicks FTW.
