Tommy Hearns was a disgrace!!!!

Dude was beating on midgets, he was towering over everyone. He wasn't fighting at his real weight class but he was too scared to move up and picked on smaller fighters. nuff said. I mean did the guy even fought someone his own size?? He needs to be taken out of any ATG lists ASAP.:poke::poke: go and slit your wrist or something. and that doesnt even make sense.

Hearns was good, he knocked out Duran didnt he? But once he was a little past his prime, the barkleys of this world could compete with him, so he couldnt have been that good in the first place.. If hearns was a monster and so good, being a little past it, shouldnt have effected him that much. Even a past his prime Hearns should have dealt with the barkleys of this world. I know BH could. All those fighters were good, SRL, Duran, Hagler but dont put them on too high a pedestal. They were the best the world of boxing had to offer at that particular time, a small window of time. But time has moved on now

Who gives a **** he (Hearns) was naturally bigger than everyone he fought. He picked on midgets his entire career.:killyou::killyou: I always thought it was the weight that mattered in a weight division, not the height. A towering boxer may be thin. But being taller doesn`t mean one is bigger I think. After all, it is called a weight division, not a height division. Thomas Hearns (the true HIT MAN) was really fantastic. Haggler had more muscles on him though less tall, Hearns was knocked out. So your argument really makes no sense. Donaire is one such example which you may not be able to rationalize on your premise. Yet he is still moving up the divisions, maybe till welterweight. (Donaire has a smaller head than Montiel, so does it make Montiel bigger?) Red K given. Tommy weighed with in the limits of his divisions for his fights and was with in reasonable weight comparison to his opponents. Not everybody is built the same. And he was too scared to move up in weight? Lets see, welter, jr, middle, middle and light heavy. Like a 30 lb difference from beginning to end. Pick on someone who deserves it, Tommy fought them all. Yeah I clocked as soon as I posted lol, I am completely against the day before weigh-ins, I think they make an absolute mockery of weight divisions to allow fighters to come in divisions above on fight night. The blame should not be placed on the fighters, especially in the case of Donaire when he weighed in relatively modestly to Montiel, its getting ridiculous, hes just an incredible good and hard puncher.
