we got alot of young talent and im amped..donaire showed us he got the lower divisions on lock and brings excitment
i think dirrell and alexander are phonies. why u aint got mares on your list??? he's a young lion.
The only phony there is Ortiz. But yes. Mares should have been included though.
Gamboa, Donaire, Khan.
Everyone else on that washing list should be removed, yes Bradley.
Hardly what I'd call great.
after he fights khan then lets see what you say
We'll see but it doesn't look good. You can have all the talent in the world but if you aren't fight anyone does it really matter? As it stands now he has another bum fight in Russia so he will probably be nearing his 32nd birthday before he fights a top opponent. Pirog has good speed and movement but around this age those skills start to diminish. Power usually stays will a fighter so he might be able to still mess some guys up but you can only do so much with power. Especially in a division that usually is loaded with real athletes.
Well see, I've yet to see an area Pirog isn't good at, we'll see I guess. In a few years from now 160's gonna explode.
He's got alot of skill, even in his late 30s I see him fucking people up.
A fight between Sergio Martinez and Dmitry Pirog would be an excellent fight.
Pirog is nearly 31 years old and his only win was against a 22 year old kid. Don't see Pirog doing much in the sport of boxing. Old, inactive, and protected.
He's got alot of skill, even in his late 30s I see him fucking people up.

Add Pirog to that list, I think he's taking over 160.

you forgot Maidana and Alvarez
Yeah, it's an exciting batch of fighters but when you consider Gamboa is nearly 30 already you wonder how long he will keep going.
It's kinda a shame Alexander didn't do better than he did as he's only 23, like Khan. Bradley is 27 and whilst that seems quite young you got to remember Oscar was around since his teenage years up the top like Tito and Roy Jones.
Alexander isn't that skilled.
It's funny how TS didn't include Berto, who's fighting Ortiz, who is on the list. If Berto continues to fight undersized welterweights 147 will be a joke
I like both Gamboa and Lopez very much, they're exciting terrific fighters, but in order to be great they must improve their skills.
True. I might not have made the distinction between good and great. There are alot of good and exiting fighters out there, but deciding who will emerge as great is tough.
If I had to pick one, I would go with Kahn.
No. Ortiz sucks.
Alexander belongs on that list. It's just that Kotelnik should been included as well.
Meh, Kotelnik is who he is. Very good fighter, not a guy who is going to be p4p world class or keep boxing relevant. Alexander's chances don't look very good, but he still has talent capable of being that.
