I don't see it. Maybe 126 and up but Donaire is good at 122. Time will tell as he has more fights. My opinion is Donaire counters him and cuts him up to a late TKO.
Pac wasn't a slouch at 122 man.
Ledwaba>>>>>Vazquez Jr.

WV2 has decent speed and was able to catch Donaire a few times while Donaire was trying to bait him with a counter left hook ala Montiel. Donaire's defense is poor. He always gets hit and gets marked up easily. Plus he hasn't faced anyone bigger than him so far. Pac at 122 was bigger, stronger, hungrier and WAY faster than Donaire is right now. Pac will walk him down, eat his shots, beat him up BAD, and finally stops him around the 8th or 9th round.
i think to beat Donaire you have to really be a relentless aggressor and Manny doesnt do that often so id pick donaire by decision
bro have you not seen pac during that time? he was aggressor personified!
imho PAC wins this, i do not know why a lot of you guys favouring donaire, yes donaire is better all around fighter but as limited as pac was during that time he did come to bring it in every fight...
barely 3 fights after setting foot at 122 he went to go 1-1-1 vs the 3 amigos at 126 & 130, imho pac is really being grossly underestimated in these kinds of fantasy match-ups ...
Fact, Pac was knocked out prior to making 122. Nonito has not even been dropped. IMO, he would knock out Pac @ 122. That's my opinion. Don't take it personal. This is not an insult on your hero or anything.
Fact, Donaire struggled with someone who he didn't have a blatant size disadvantage over.
Fact, Donaire wouldn't have the speed, size, reach, power advantage here.
Fact, Darchinyan's power, which fades out above 115, doesn't compare to Pac's power, which was explosive at 122 and hasn't faded out until around 140.
That's my opinion. Don't take it personal.

FACT Donaire was living in the states by the time he was 10. Donaire never went thru the extreme poverty Pacquaio did. Look at the two TKO Losses Manny had came from body shots. The man was malnourished. Look what happen to Manny when he hooked up with Roach and didn't need to worry about if he was gonna eat 3 times a day or not.
This.
Nonito is at a higher level now than Pac was then. That's all truth.
Manny was younger in 2001 (23y/o) with more experience and a lot busier, fighting 4x that year... compared to Donaire now (28y/o) and hasn't tested the waters at 122 yet.
The Manny who fought Ledwaba, took the fight in a two-week notice as a replacement, and schooled a world-champion.
Donaire looked great with that 2nd round KO, but Manny that fought Ledwaba is a beast.
With Donaire's counter punching ability and power, I can't see Pac having his way with Nonito the way you think. Pac is liable to run into something massive like Vic and Fernando did. Just saying.

Paul Williams would never struggle with a crafty lefty?
Did you watch the Sharmba Mitchell fight? Did you see the shots he snuck in? And that was a lefty with no movement.
No, Paul failed. And you picked him to win that fight. And you fail.
Because Paul Williams would never lose to Quintana in a fantasy match.
