Donaire takes much riskier fights than Pacquiao. Really does he? Maybe this year...But, was he doing it last year? What about 2 years ago? 3 years ago? Vic... I mean right now Donaire is taking a risky fight once every 3 years. However, there has been couple solid ones in between those 2 fights like against Sydorenko and Martinez. But, I would call those risky or more risky than Pac. Unless you're only comparing their last 2 fights.

whoever think Donaire is better than Pac is a fool. can we all look what Montiel's resume and say he is a future hall of famer? Donaire's destruction of Montiel was amazing but to say he is better than Pac? Montiel may be the best of 118 lbs before the destruction but can you say that Montiel was a world class fighter? when Martinez KOed PWilliams they say the same thing about him better than Pac. now its gone. Pac fought and beat 3 Mexican Legends. now Garcia is saying Donaire is better than Pac? being better technically doesnt mean a better boxer. Manny has a better footwork, faster hand, way better combo, more power in both hands and a heart of a lion and now Donaire is already better than him after a Montiel destruction? Manny is just more of a offensive fighter but to say Donaire is better doesnt know anything about boxing. You dont accomplish Manny's resume for being lesser fighter than Donaire or Sergio or Floyd etc etc. we dont know if Donaire can be better than Pac in the future but talking about Donaire is better than Pac NOW? Donaire wont make it in a boxing hall of fame if he quit boxing today. Pac has been a future hall of famer eversince he faced the 3 mexican legends.

While I think that Nonito is great fighter it is just plain stupid to say that at this stager he is a good or better than Pac. This idiot Garcia is just pumping himself thinking he has done something to make Nonito better which of course he hasn't. I just hope Nonito realizes this idiot has nothing to offer and moves on.

Its funny to see that Pac Haters already trying to make Donaire look superior. Donaire is a good fighter, but until I see him thru some war's like PaC had he is not on his level yet. 8 titles in 8 divisions ( 4 linear ) is still something Donaire will need to match before I even considering him greater then Pacquaio.

Agreed. Nobody can deny that Donaire is much more technically skilled than Pac. The sad thing about this, is that I have a feeling that once Pac retires, Nonito will probably get rid of Garcia and hire roach, lol. I think that would be a big mistake, I don't know why he would do that.

its not fair to compare Manny's resume to Nonito's right now... he hasn't even peaked yet. Donaire is unlikely to equal Manny's achievement of 8 championships in 8 divisions but that's not the only measure of greatness. I can't wait when he faces Gamboa and Lopez (will skyrocket his popularity immensely). I really hope he doesn't do the whole thing after the Darychinyan win and fight bums.

nonito has better technique, but I doubt nonito can replicate manny's 8 (or 7 according the some) championships in 8 different divisions.

We're all just too excited for Donaire after his amazing performance. Bottom line though, he's only fought 2 named fighters who are not really boxers but more like brawlers, Darchinyan and Montiel. Not to mention those two opponents are shorter and smaller than him. Donaire has the speed, power and skills. But his heart and chin are still in question. Pacquiao is proven in every department and his accomplishments are second to none. So at this point, saying that Donaire is better than Pac is ridiculous. And btw, if you believe than Montiel was really 8 lbs bigger than Donaire during the fight, you're a fool. It was more like the other way around.

Donaire has yet to fight a Morales or a Marquez type fighter. Fights that test his heart as a fighter. We all know Pac has the heart of a lion to go along with his skills and athleticism. We're still waiting for Donaire to prove the same.

Skill wise Donaire is better in sheer power definitely Manny e.g Hatton, stayed in the canvas longer than the fight itself. IMOH Donaire has a good chin. Was able to absorb Montiel's power punch without flinching before landing his own counter punch that ended the fight.

Skillwise Donaire is the man Donaire is hands down better than PAC. I thought that when he floored Darchiniyan. I honestly believed he baited Montiel into throwing that shot so he could hit him w/ the left (like he said). He is a true p4p but I would like to see him w/ someone of his own size and speed.
