Who do u have higher now?
I don't mind who is no. 2 in P4P between Donaire and Martinez. They are active figthters and not retired yet. Sooner or later if they moved weight and demolish their opponent. They maybe competing in no. 1 position same goes to the current P4P King
I turned it in after the fight. Not sure when it goes up but I'd assume tonight or the next few days. Donaire jumps in high.
Thanks for the heads up, cliff, always looking forward to your next list and articles.
Really cliff, so when are you releasing your next p4p list?

That's not true. He was in that slot in the last update:
http://www.boxingscene.com/closing-2010-boxingscenecoms-pound-pound-top-ten--34170
It was never pasted to the top like others but was run asa feature.
As I noted to you elsewhere, you'll be more than pleased with where he is now. The proof has caught up to the talent.Really cliff, so when are you releasing your next p4p list?
Paging Mr. Cliff Rold...you didn't even put Donaire in your "could easily be here" spot in your Top 10 P4P list...Heck, you didn't even mention him his name in your "could be here soon " list.... I guess it now time for you to update your list ASAP, and agree with Ring's Top 10 ranking of Nonito...:P

Froch would beat Martinez easy. He only has 1 loss which everone knows is bs because it was fought in Kesslers backyard. While Martinez lost to a raw Margarito and Pwill. I'm not so sure he would beat Pwill if they fought a rubber match. I had to put he Klits up there because no one has dominated their divison this era as much as the Klit bros have. So really I have Martinez at 6 p4p.
Dude...I'll bet you all my points...no kidding, that Martinez would end Froch's career, regardless of the size difference. Froch is agile and active but Martinez is smart and smart fighters always win. Martinez would pick Froch to pieces, no power needed...once he observed how wide and far out Froch throws his punches, Martinez would dominate him. You must remember, in the first Williams fight, he had 4 weeks total to train, Williams had 3 or 4 months. The 2nd fight showed Martinez's ability to adapt provided he gets a full training camp.
Martinez now would murder Margs, no questions asked...remember this too........dude had NO AMATEUR BACKGROUND AT ALL!!!!!!! Started boxing at 20 or 21. His 17th fight was like a bs amateur fight to most guys. Martinez is the truth man, no bs, no hype, all champ, I'd back this guy to the end, he will never give up or make excuses; dude is 1 in a million- as a boxing fan,I'm proud to be labeled as a Martinez nuthugger...he has paid his dues as far as I am concerned.
Easy for me, I love both fighters (as boxers solely, to all the freaks on here) but Martinez wins easy. The dude fights bigger guys and puts up with the fact that the powers that be don't really want him to win. He is just now being accepted but his personality is that of a marketable star, he has morals and a good speaking presence.
Martinez is the guy that no-one wants to face, Donaire is the guy that slightly bigger guys want to test until they actually get into the ring; Sergio just doesn't have the stigma associated with fighting smaller opponents.
Sergio Martinez makes Carl Froch look like a retard for 12 rounds. That's not even close. Froch number 3? Really? And I agree that Donaire has been more explosive, but Martinez should have had the win against Cintron (watch that fight and tell me Cintron deserves a draw) and arguably won his first with Williams. That fight was clearly only gonna be won by Paul, one judge had it 118-110...Martinez still has that resume.
Lol at the Klitschko Brothers as one entity and them being p4p number 4. Wlad is higher than Vitali, and is only barely top 10 if he is at all.

You watched them all? Good man. :D
You should check out Tapia-Ayala I, just for the fact it's a great fight.
all the ones i could get, a few of Cermeno's were hard to come by along with one or 2 others. Havent watched the other ones u pmed me about yet though
Lets take a look at Martinezs resume. His last fight was against Pwill who had to move up in weight to fight him. And while he did knock him out hes still 1-1 against Pwill. His fight against Kelly Pavlik doesnt really mean much cuz Kelly doesn't have it anymore and has personal problem like being an alcholic. He also got a draw against Kermit Cintron 4 fights ago.
Donaire looks more spectacular against better fighters and is younger and has less loses on his resume.
My list is
1.) Manny Pacquiao
2.) Nonito Donaire
3.) Carl Froch
4.) Wlad/Vitali Klitchko
5.) Martinez

after watching all those fights u and walt reccomended i want to see him fight both of them. **** moving up in weight. the BW division is stacked!

I think Donaire is the better fighter, but Martinez has beaten the better competition lately.
A win over the Showtime winner or Moreno and I'd put Donaire ahead.

Nonito's the better fighter with more ahead of him. Sergio is 36, remember. This makes it SEEM like Donaire's the obvious p4p number 3 (I still rate Mayweather), but hold on. Martinez beat top 5 Paul Williams by brutal knockout (just as bad as this one), embarrassed Kelly Pavlik, some would say got robbed against Williams and definitely got robbed against Cintron. He's got a far superior resume at this point, but if Donaire goes onto beat some more good guys in top fashion, he goes ahead of Martinez and soon.
Donaire should be higher than Martinez....
remember Pwill was MOVING UP in weight when he was starched by Martinez, the middle weight champ....
Montiel on the other hand was the WBO, WBC bantamweight champ and Donaire KTFO Montiel

I have donaire above wifebeater and martinez. if pac doesn't KTFO mosley or if he doesn't fight any quality opponents soon, I might have nonito above pac too.
