Alright, say Khan lands a left hook to the body against Bradley (like the one he landed against Maidana).
Does Bradley go down? And if he does, does he get back up?
I've thought about Khan-Bradley a fair bit, and i think Khan's body shots could be the difference. Khan will throw them much more (he won't be afraid of bradley's power the way he was of Maidana's), and if he lands one early on in a round (the one against Maidana was in the final seconds) Bradley could have difficulty making it to the end of the round.
I'm sure with a trainer like Roach, body-punching will be part of the gameplan to take the steam out of Bradley for the later rounds, when we know Khan gets tired. Hopefully we'll get to see more against McCloskey
Oh, and WAR KHAN
(although i'm a fan of Bradley too)
Nobody can make bradley quit. If that guy has one quality its definitely will.
I think even after khan knocked maidana down he didn'tgo down to the body more even if he knew that was key.
I think bradley has a better chance than maidana even though he doesn't have as much power..
hele definately sneak some in,and he wont hold back quite as much as he did agaisnt maidana, where he was deliberately reducing his output of punches so not to allow more openings and get carried away.
Bradley dont have killer KO power like maidana.
Khan is quite a lot taller than bradley and khan uses his height and reach to good effect.
you will see khans superior footwork/footspeed,and his much faster hands and more accomplished combinations, ring generalship ect.
damn your talking as if Khan as Miguel Cotto type Body Shots, OK he caught Maidana with a good shot...I don't think one shot makes Khan all of a sudden this amazing Body Puncher
not only that but Bradley defense is pretty good...a lot better then Maidana's that is for sure also Bradley is much quick then Maidana
I guess we will have to wait and see but I seriously doubt Bradley will be stopped via BODY SHOT
I'm not for a second suggesting Khan can punch like Cotto. I think it's unlikely too, it's just a what-if type question
Hopefully we get the fight in July - can't wait :boxing:
Taking head shots and body shots are two completely different things.
Maidana never quit against Ortiz or Khan despite all the very heavy headshots, but one bodyshot from Khan (not considered a brutal body-puncher) and he flopped over

Bradley Quit? NEVER! He was dropped against Kendal Holt twice and like a Warrior he battled back from the Knock Downs and Won
I just think Bradley is the more TESTED and SEASONED Fighter in that 140 Division, I think he beats Khan just like he beat Alexander, the more seasoned fight out-class the younger fighter
I think Bradley can break Khan with down with Body Shots though, I think Bradley will BULLY Khan around the Ring, Khan is the Taller guy and has the reach advantage but Bradley is the more Powerfully guy PHYSICALLY, I don't think Khan Jab will be enough to keep Bradley off of him plus Khan Heads Hunt like all Young fighters do, I think Bradley Head Movement will give him Problems, because of Bradley consistent Head Movements that is why a lot of Headbutts happen when he fights
people can talk about Headbutt this and Headbutt that but nobody can question Bradley's toughness, the guy is willing to fight ANY AND EVERYBODY which is RARE in boxing today, I never hear Bradley say "It Depends On My Promoter Gary Shaw"

If it was the same body shot, then perhaps Bradley would might taken a knee. But, the question is, can lightning strike twice in the same area? (its an analogy):boxing:

I think most fighters would have gotten knocked out by that body shot.
