Watching Donaire beat Montiel, I Couldn't help but think of what I'd learned from watching these videos. I dont make any accusations, but you cant say it doesn't make you think.
I keep thinking, if Marion Jones, Mosley make the assertion that Conte unknowingly gave them steroids, then what does Donaire think? does Donaire think the are lying, does he think Conte could potentially do that to him?
Don't think....all those athletes lied or are still lying. Mosley dropped his lawsuit, because ultimately they know it's frivolous. Jones has since admitted to knowing exactly what she was doing, which is why she went to the pen for lying in her grand jury testimony.
i dont fully trust that conte has cleaned up his act.
he might be telling fighters hes giving them legal stuff, but do people even know what they are taking,it doesnt seem like they do!.
and whats to say he hasnt just created another type of steriod that is yet to be detected??.
he says hes legit, even though it cant be 100 per cent proven, and then says he knows the sports drug testing still isnt good enough.
And he also hints that so and so is juicing, but without any shred of proof what so ever, surely he could get in trouble for making such claims!

No test is flawless. But if random testing was to be implemented regularly in boxing, we'll see more fighters get caught than not if they continued to juice.
Boxing is twice as worse, Mediocre testing, Selfish organisations who are looking out for themselves, Fighters who want to be great with little to no ability etc If they start proper testing in boxing you would see how either 60% of them retires or getting KO with ease.
the old timers are lucky, pumpin till their hearts desired

Conte kept clearing his guilt by saying "everybody does it" so it was equal, cuz everyone was able to cheat their body and train harder-therefore perform better.
i really hope he is clean on his business now,and darent do anything ilegal again after getting caught, and im sure he knows anyone can get caught at anytime if any client sends these unkown riods to any official agencies.
But how the hell does he kknow that "everyone" takes this junk??,does the last place loser take these drugs?or less good drugs?or none at all?,but the 1st 2nd and 3rd people in a race are all on different drugs combined with natural talent??.
I do think getting scum like him to catch other scum could work, for him to tell them where the flaws are in testing, where the obvious signs are in cheating are, even have investigators to make sure there arent even more new and undetecable drugs that are being used still.
Maye getting under cover agents from the official bodies going deep into training camps to infultrate the cheats.or secret recording going on if needed.
I hope that this isnt big in boxing, especially at the top level, cuz it will only make the "champions" be a load of frauds who never really properly won anything.
i hope that if any noticable body changes and performance changes do happen that people are brought up about it.
Haye is a hardcore juicehead.
It always surprises me how little you hear about PED use in boxing especially when you consider the nature of the sport and how there is no real authority to look after such matters for the whole of the sport.
Then again why is that surprising it just seems accepted
Drugs in sport...........
You guys should deffo watch this, suggests how rampant drugs in sport are.
Balco Interview.... 5 4.28, unbelievable
That was incredible @ 4:28.
Conte basically snitched on baseball, the next year was when the sh!t hit the fan.
ye,i mean,of couse there is pressure to win and earn big money, but not everyone does it,surely,im sure a lot do in most sports, but not everyone!.
and if your that weak to cheat yourself to win a phoney victory,to think you werent good enough to achieve without cheating, then why bother competing at all,its all fake,it doesnt mean sh*t does it.you lose in all realness, you dont really win anything at all.
i would have usada get people to act as athletes who want to dope, and send them under cover with cameras/recordings hidden on them, and record the fake athete trying to get info on fighters and doping substance and catch suspected users and dealers.
very intresting to think of who is and who isnt using,on how bad it really is,or is it just conte and the like making money and notoriety from claiming x and y person are doping, and claiming they have supreme knowledge and skills to get past testing and detect cheats.
I agree, I don't think everyone cheats. But in an era where so many are, it's hard not to. Conte supposedly helping the USADA is done in pretty much every industry. A lot of guys who chased down financial irregularities either worked for the banks or joined soon after. And snitches have been around since the beginning of time. But the USADA's job isn't to catch cheaters so much as it is to prevent them. having them turn into McGyver is a bit much.

Yep, its like someone handing you a world title(Boxing), the belt dont mean **** without the achievement without having fought for it.
That is exactly what I was thinking, I mean maybe its rampant in athletics, but im thinking maybe he's exaggerating the point when discussing Boxing just to get his foot in the door.
Apparently they did yeah, looks like American athletes have took over that mantle though.
It's prominent in many countries, not just the US. You better believe they still juice up the wazoo overseas.
Good post. What gets me, is that its not just Conte that tries to absolve himself of blame, but also the athletes, now that seems inevitable, but its their reasoning that concerns me, they try to make the assertion they did what they did to be the best, in pursuit of the glory, when we all know the truth is, its all about the money, future earning potential. Just pure greed at the end of the day.
People claim Ben Johnson owned up to taking PED, but he didn't really, he claimed he was innocent, its only when tape recordings of his conversation with his doctor came to light, where they discussed the drugs he was using, that he admitted it, he had no choice.

They never own up. Why would they? That doesn't surprise or bother me, it's the cover up on the higher levels by those in an position of authority that irks me. Those who just turn the other cheek. Carl Lewis tested positive in those same Olympics and walked scot-free.
It doesn't surprise me, what surprises me is that hardly ANY have shown remorse and just been honest and said, yeah, I did it for the money, but I truly have learned my lesson, I would find that easier to forgive to be honest, knowing they had truly learned something from the experience, instead of coming out with conspiracy theories like what Johnson did, or claim you unknowingly took them (Mosley, Marion Jones)
Yeah I know, and he has been taking shots at other athletes for years, what a hypocrite. You know that might say more about the TYPE of person that is inclined to cheat, as Johnson, Marion Jones, Carl Lewis profile seem to fit that kind of behavior.
were'nt the germans fed steroids for breakfast, dinner and supper?
didi they let that black guy get his hands on the supplements or what?
