"Pacquiao is definitely going to lose the fight. He's gonna get beat and the reason why is the only people that I've lost to are African Americans. He's never fought an African American and I've only lost to African Americans. I don't lose to nobody else; everybody else gets smashed. My record shows it," stated three-division world-champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley, who recently returned to his training facilities in Big Bear, California after a cross-country tour to promote his upcoming May 7th showdown with pound-for-pound champion Manny Pacquiao. Enjoying his last days off before starting training camp, Mosley made it clear that he's not at all concerned about any of the skills that the Filipino superstar possesses.
"Margarito and all these guys they put in front of me, I destroy them all. Manny Pacquiao is in for a long night because I don't lose to anything but African Americans," he continued. It's a bold statement, but for the most part, it's true as five out of Mosley's six losses have come at the hands of Floyd Mayweather, Winky Wright, and Vernon Forrest, all of which are African Americans. His sixth loss, however, was to Puerto Rican sensation Miguel Cotto in a fight that many believe Mosley deserved the nod in. "I should have won the Cotto fight. They kinda gave it to him, but whatever. I've only been beat by African Americans," Mosley explained. Will Manny Pacquiao become the first non-African American to decisively and convincingly defeat the future Hall of Famer? Tune in on May 7th to find out!
SSM is supposed to be clever isnt he? So why come out with this?
But how many southpaw filipinos have you fought SSM? And how many african americans has pac lost to? None as well.
With scores of 115-113 on 2 cards for Cotto vs Mosley, it's hard to disagree with Mosley that they just gave the fight to Cotto because he's Puerto Rican and New York is his home away from home. I mean with scores that close even in your home, you know you got a gift.
Or maybe the fight was 7 rounds to 5 for Cotto as most people scored it....
Man, Floyd must have his him harder than I thought. I know Cotto's got some big lips, but still...
But after reading the article, Shane's either trying on purpose to be like Mayweather and get attention, or this article is liable...

That is bull shiiit. Shane did not say this. Anybody that watches Shane, knows he doesn't talk like that and never would.
So Mosley's going to lose to a Pinoy for the first time. I thought he lost to Mora and thought he lost to De La Hoya the second fight but the judges disagreed.
Hard to believe these kind of comments coming from Mosley. Maybe he's been spending too much time with B Hop. I can only imagine the comments he's getting on fight hype for this.
Yeah, Shane's not the type to run off at the mouth like that. Arum gave Shane his marching orders to help promote the fight. It's his role in this one, the token Black guy more or less, playing the race card... so transparent :nonono:
