Everybody thought Pac was crazy for taking the fight. Most experts were calling it a circus. Funny how everything changed after that epic beatdown. doesnt change the fact DLH was past it and wasnt relevant in any division anymore. I mean, his performance in the fight was pitiful. not to mention he got pretty beat up by Forbes of all people. people mostly just thought that Pacquiao was too small to make WW, ignoring the fact he weighed in at WW size since his super featherweight days. never said he wasn't weight drained or shot against forbes. against forbes he wasn't as weight drained because we wasn't trying to weigh in at 147 lbs on fight night... but he got hit more cause he thought he could take more chances against a midget and he wanted to look impressive. I agree with you that dlh is bad against southpaws. In his prime couldn't beat up an aging Whitaker who only had his right jab going for him. I recommend you watch dlh vs Whitaker and dlh vs Manny. Whitaker might be better in defense but Manny is way better in offense

dlh was never good against lefties period. Watch his fight against an aging Whitaker http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUo3zBkmToo and then Manny http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlwLvtw4PB8you will see that he couldn't figure out how to handle a lefty. Manny and his team incorporated the same tactics used by Whitaker by moving constantly to dlh's left side. In my conclusion prime or not dlh would have never beat Manny.
