This interview was seriously boring. Not sure why they even made it a big deal. when not in the ring, i find pacquiao to be extremely boring and totally uninteresting.

I have no problem with pac trying to speak in English even in Washington, he is what he is, a third world champion P4P No. 1 boxer, congressman politician, representing his people to the world with class, dedication and hardwork ... i have no doubt in my mind that if pac puts as much effort in mastering the english language as he puts in training, he'd vastly improve his speech. now if only someone in his inner circle would point that out to him.....

Man, that interview by Frank Grimes was groan inducing. He should really get a translator when discussing political issues in America. ("The Peepol's Champ movement...you know....ummmmm.......help poor peepol....ummmm.......poverty....poor peepol together.........yeah.). But for Fox News, it was surprisingly unbiased. i actually agree with you about Pac's interview. it was indeed excruciating to watch. with millions at his disposal, he seriously should hire a speaking coach. a major part of being a politician is being able to COMMUNICATE and inspire people not only with deeds but actually words. all the great modern leaders were exemplary communicators. i hope he would come to the realization that he can't rely on his popularity forever and NEEDS to work on his oratory skills.

Maybe he should cut off time from billiards and darts and hire an English teacher. Knowing Manny if he studies like he trains he would be able to express his feelings in English more eloquently.

Knowing Fox News, I thought it would be an opportunity for an anti-immigration rant. That was surprisingly positive. fox news is anti-ILLEGAL immigration. they have no problem with immigrants whatsoever as long as they are law abiding.

Even if he had translators, has Manny ever sounded good talking politics in tagalog? I imagine him still giving the same generic answers, nothing too in depth but enough to move on to the next question.

Cmon now Manny, at least practice some talking points so when you talk about politics, you have more substance to what you're saying than just "i want to serve people." I've seen you speak in your native tongue and I know you have many things to say, it's just unfortunate that you can't fully translate them in English that well. yeah... pac should get a translator... I mean his english is good enough for boxing, but he really should get a translator while in washington.
