He got caught with diuretics in the Guzman rematch and got a 9 month suspension. Guzman got caught with the same stuff in his last fight :/
/thread..........................
I don't like that. He lost to Campbell, he beat Guzman I, he lost to Guzman II.
Those were 3 clear decisions, regardless of what the refs want you or I to believe.
I don't think he beat Campbell but a lot think he did.
It is true though what anyone else thinks doesn't really matter he is 0-2-1 in his last three fights, that isn't going to keep you in the picture especially getting busted for cheating.
What's so interesting is that many of us on here would always question how he got down to LW; alot of threads on that, I remember that he entered the ring weighing 152 against Guzman, a ripped 152.
I can't say that he would have had a promising career, he was pretty darn basic. He also seemed fragile to shots on top of the head, around the temple area.
As far as I know, he's still serving his suspension. However, I'm not sure how promising his career will be once the suspension is up.
He's had a poor record officially in his last handful of fights and he definitely lost the last fight that he was busted for. He's not American and he's not a star. It'll be hard to get over that hurdle. Hopefully for his sake, he's staying in shape and waiting it out.
When he actually wins a fight get back to me. 0-2-1 in his last three fight he could have won two but didn't and then he got busted.
That is a quick way to derail a promising career.
