Maidana vs Morales on April 9?

coward marquez should have been the one fighting dangerous maidana and prove himself at 140 instead of morales who have been shot since 5 years ago....

maidana will have an ATG in his resume :boxing: but i want morales to win this one.

He's won his last 3 fights and the only thing Maidana has going for him is his toughness and relentlessness. He's dangerous as hell, but extremely 1 dimensional- nothing Morales hasn't already seen. This fight feels the same to me as Hopkins vs Pascal. That's underrating Maidana. Kotelnik has a lot of skill and technique and Maidana nearly beat him. Morales isn't as good at this point as Kotelnik. Ortiz and Khan are far better as well, and Maidana beat one and almost beat the other. Morales gets destroyed.

Yeah they're working it out now since marquez didn't want the fight. I like this fight a lot because it's the classic skill vs youth matchup, and Morales has incredible heart so you never count him out no matter how old he is. He may be shot but he's still a living legend, and Maidana's never faced anybody as tough or as skilled as him- that doesn't go away when you age. Come on bro. Morales has been shot for years. He has nothing left. Maidana kills him, maybe literally.
