Benitez was arguably a better defensive fighter than Floyd. Floyd is just not prepared for the firepower and skill Leonard brings. Benitez isn't anywhere near Floyd's class. Floyd would give Leonard plenty of problems but he simply isn't active enough and shows too much respect to ever beat Ray. I like SRL by 8-4, 7-5.

I wonder if Leonard would jab to the body and go upstairs with the right hand? Mayweather is likely open to that combination more than any other one. I know that Floyd spars 20 minutes rounds with sparring partners coming in and out....This is not to knock Leonard but I think Floyd has the edge in conditioning. I also feel that Floyd is the smartest fighter that I have seen since I've been watching the sport, so yes I believe he is smarter. The advantages I give Leonard are: Height, Natural Size, Punching Power, I think the fight would be great but I feel Floyd would win. Some people in here are as sharp as bowling balls!! Some of these comments are just sad and pathetic.

Alot of people mentioned, how SRL had more power, better skills, better footwork, bigger in size. But no one mentions there defensive attributes. Mayweather is simply leagues above SRL in that department. I believe they are similar in all other attributes except defence Could you honestly see mayweather losing to Roberto Duran? that would be an easy UD for Money Slip shots, perfectly timed shoulder role? place elbow over liver(avoid effective body shots), he's stance is very strange too as he doesn't stand like an orthodox fighter when in defensive mode.
