Any Of You BOXING Fans Watching/Ordering UFC 126?

was it worth fifty? not really but atleast Torres showed how you can dominate with a jab and right cross! Jones is talented and Silva remains at the top, decent fights but ofcourse Griffin vs Franklin was a tired sparring session and if it wasnt for some nice ice cold Beck's i would have snored off. I give UFC a chance every once in awhile, and so far its been a letdown for the money, i wish they would throw a freebie in there sometimes, i would probably watch more often and be a more avid viewer of the sport but shelling out $$$ every damn month just to see tired wrestling is not winning me over. THANK GOD FOR DONAIRE VS MONTIEL NEXT WEEK!!!!

Thats fine I'm just pointing out that the UFC back then is nothing like it is now. And the stand up has gotten a "little" better? You do realize that they can do more than just throw punches right? The stand up has gotten way better to the point that being a good boxer is nowhere near enough to be a good striker in the UFC. The better strikers are usually Mu Thai or champion kickboxers. Marcus Davis was a pro boxer for 10 years and guess what happened? He got Knocked out by a wrestler and got released by the UFC. You need a lot more than good boxing to make it in MMA. Wtf? Who said anything about boxers in the ufc? Not me. If you want to talk about it, diaz was doin pretty good just boxing with cyborg. Yeah i know he tapped him out but he was doin fine just boxing. He only fought more top level Heavyweights than anyother active Mixed Martial Artists and hearing how so and so "Almost" beat him has gotten really old over the last 10 years! Ufc is zzz now, the first few were great but it went from style vs style to a bland mixture of martial arts now more it's own style than a "mixture" at all, and when it comes to pure styles nothing Beats boxing IMO Yeah I like how marcus Davis who was a Pro Boxer for 10 years got knocked out by a fuking wrestler and was released from the UFC just last month LOL!!!

He landed the punch behind his ear with 4 ounce gloves and it was fuking flush! I know mma guys love him but cmon, who wants to see how long you can lay on top of someone? It's not very exciting. I think it was the UFC when he hit Shamrock in the nuts I decided that's enough for me. The fans can be pretty annoying also. Well, there's not a lot to watch on TV on certain hours of the day, so once in a while you get to watch past UFC match ups re-shown on S***e TV. There's this guy who seems invincible, Anderson Silva. Unbelievable display of confidence. He always makes his opponents look like amateurs. I might be tempted to order this one, for the first time.

i will be watching but im waiting for a 720p cap of it. i never buy ppv's unless i can get a few people to chip in which is pretty much never anymore. i dont get why so many boxing fan got a problem with it. so what if somebody likes mma. i like boxing and mma but i like boxing more of course. doesnt mean i cant like other combat sports. you can be a true fan to both as well. at least BxFanViento isnt an ass about it even though he doesnt like it. all the ones always saying mma gay or ignorant crap like im not a bender must have homophobic issues. grow up. i hope Belfort knocks Silva's head off. like both Franklin and Griffin so hoping just to see a good scrap. going for Bader since Jones already said hes won. i dont like that arrogant talk from him.

As a true fan of the sport of boxing,I will not be watching this MMGAY event.I really don't see the fascination in two glass jawed grapplers molesting one another inside of a ring/cage.There is an art to fighting - and swinging wildly with your chin in the air,just hoping to land one haymaker(and that's all it takes to knock one of these fragile guys out) isn't an art in my view.
