I see people sh1ttin on the Alexander Bradley fight as if the best fight that could possibly be made will be much better. Sh1t Have vs Wlad would be in the same boat.
watch Floyd's earlier fights. Regarding the thread, I think it will be great, it cannot be bad imo considering the drama/bad blood etc, I can just imagine Pac landing a jab and the crowd going crazy, every little punch the crowd will go wild. I mean the pre-hype, marketing, walk to the ring, Bruce Buffer, stare down, when the first bell rings and a loud roar erupts from the crowd. It would be so good, I think it will be highly tactical but I think Manny can make Floyd fight, Floyd can't stand there and pot shot.
Yeah, I meant now, or lately. He's learned too much and become too good offensively to ever have to risk being pulled into brawls. I wasn't calling Floyd boring or a runner, if that's what you think.
As far as action, no. Floyd is never in action fights. It would be a very good fight between two very skilled fighters though, the type that boxing fans would love. The skill level in the ring if those two fight would be off the charts.

I think it will be a higher quality, faster version of calzaghe-hopkins. It will have that type of feel, where manny's workrate will be effected by floyds counter-punching and defence. Like I said it will be better quality because both fighters in pac-may are superior to calzaghe-hopkins, so there will probably be cleaner fighting, more punches landed, more action but it will feel like that fight because manny will struggle to land clean and floyd will throw much less but more accurate. I think it will be tough to score, and I don't think either guy will get tired (hopkins got tired). The difference is that manny very much possesses the equaliser as well as workrate he throws with power even in between combinations, manny can all of a sudden turn a punch over and throw a hook instead of a straight left, so mayweather is gonna have to be very careful. All in all it will be a decent fight nothing more, floyd has never really exchanged punches his whole career especially since he's moved up to 147, I don't expect him to exchange with the most fearsome combination puncher in the world. It will be exciting though because of the occasion and because pac will try and turn it into a fight
I think it would be exciting.
Pac coming in with his darts trying to hit Floyd with combo's.
floyd trying to time and counter, using his footwork.
Manny trying at angles with bith hands, and with a straight left
May jabbing to the body trying to walk manny down
Manny doing a hook and duck
Mayweather check hooking
Manny peppering may's glove and getting through his shoulder roll in his south paw stance
Mayweather fighting back on the inside
Manny leaning back and taking some shots
Mayweather then gets hit with an uppercut as he unleashes
Then a tense moment in the 12th, it's a close fight, bith tap hands
Then who knows what happens, both beig old it's close and aware that they could lose it if they get countered good
The fans cheering them on, biggest fight for ages
All boxing fans across the world, americans, pinoys, brts, ricans, mexicans
Brad pitt, willmsmrh, leonard, tyson, all the big stars invegas cheering
Mofo trust me, this fight is gonna be great
^^^^^^this!!!:boxing:
This fight will be as good as PBF wants it to be. Early in the PBF will use a high guard defense. Also PBF might fight Manny in close to work his body. Manny can only win this fight at mid-range. If this fight is fought completely on the outside or inside PBF has his way with Manny.
I disagree. I see this as being a great fight that more then lives up to the hype and basically makes everyone forget the bad tast of Floyd-Oscar.
People have to realize that Floyd is bigger now. He's not that same guy coming into the ring at 148 pounds for his WW fights. Pac will bring it to him and Floyd will not do as much moving as people think. He will do alot of blocking & countering. Then as the fight goes on, I think Floyd will go head up with him alot and even start walking him down some.
No way this fight doesnt match the hype. Theyre both far too skilled, too seasoned, and want it too bad. Floyd cannot coast and win this fight and Pac can not just box and win this fight. Pac has to be aggressive and Floyd will too at some points if he wants the W. I think he will and it will be action packed.
I think it will be exciting early because both guys will be a little nervous, off, reckless, and shakey while I think it will be exciting late because both guys have felt eachother out, will know what they need to do to win, and Floyd will step up his pace
Apparantly you missed the Clottey fight?
I saw the Clottey fight, and I didn't state that Pac has not been in a boring fight, instead asking how many he's been in the last 5 years.
Reading comprehension is dope...
Apparantly you missed the Clottey fight?
You can't blame Manny if his opponent won't like to throw punches and keep his hands on guard position. Same with Bradley.
Great fight No Floyd will not engage in a brawl with Pac he is going to fight a smart technical fight like he always does the only thing that matters to him is the W
Show me a fight where wifebeater runs.
I think he means the Floyd knocking out opponents not that his last two fights. Floyd is a great boxer. Boxing is exciting when someone goes down and retaliate. Look at Martinez last fight because of that KO he won people recognition and Fighter of the Year if I'm not mistaken.
I think Floyd will need to be more offensive in this fight than in any prior match simply because of the style he's gonna have to deal with. It's one thing countering 1-2's or countering jabs with pull counters. But Pacquiao throws 4,5,6 punch combos to where he may get hit with 1 counter, but will deliver 2 or 3 to answer yours.
I don't think it'll be anything like a Hagler vs Hearns, but it will have its share of action.
Besides, how many Pacquiao fights can you say were boring in the last 5 years?

I could go into detail and really analyze the intricacies of this fight and how it would go down, but I could literally write pages about that. At the end of the day the bottom line is this: whoever dictates the style/pace of the fight will win. If Pac can make it a chaotic whirlwind/high action/volume punching fight then he has a very good chance to win. The problem is that simply will not happen..I can only think of one instance where one of Mayweather's opponents actually controlled the style/pace of the entire fight and that was the first time he fought Castillo. Castillo came into the ring the 11 pounds heavier than Mayweather and literally bullied him around the ring. There have been other instances where opponents have done this for periods or rounds of a fight but never the entire fight. Mayweather always controls the style of the fight and that's why he is so good. So with that being said, is Pac going to beat Floyd in a highly skilled BOXING match where Floyd controls the pace? hahaha Cmon, we all know the answer to that? Not a chance:)

We could only dream right.
For me personally it would be just for the drama that every punch thrown would bring. I was on the edge of my seat for the Alexander and Bradley fight though to so i dont know if my opinion counts for much.
