With no fights on the horizon as of yet. Argentina bad boy Marcos "El Chino" Maidana (29-2, 27 ko's) stated today on *********.com that he wanted a piece of Floyd Mayweather (41-0, 25 ko's). Maidana is a top tier light welterweight who lost a close battle with Amir Khan last December. Maidanas other loss came to Andriy Kotelnik in early 2009, a fight that could of gone either way. Marcos even called Mayweather a "loud mouth" and "arrogant".
Will these taunts get Marcos the big "Money" fight or he is just letting it be known he will fight anyone? Whatever the case maybe, Marcos is a strong pressure fighter with a solid chin. Mayweather vs Maidana could be an interesting match-up between brawler and boxer. Maidana doesn't think moving up to welterweight will be a problem. He even insisted that if Mosley can stagger Mayweather, then he will knock him out.
The reality is Floyd has bigger fish to fry It's also being rumored that Maidana could face the loser of tomorrow nights clash between Devon Alexander and Timothy Bradley on HBO this summer. You have to give credit to Maidana for at least trying to lure Mayweather into a fight.
If Maidana couldn't stop Khan, he won't be able to do sh!t with Mayweather.
I'd lmao if Floyd came back to fight him.
Floyd: He called me out. He want it, he can get it...lol
Mayweathers last 2 fights in 4 years was against a old lightweight at catchweight and a old 16 month inactive Mosley. He doesnt have the balls to fight Maidana
