If and when Alexander beats Bradley,isn't he number 1 at 140??

A win over Bradley, in my opinion, would be the best win in the division but... Khan beating Malignaggi and Maidana is better than losing to Kotelnik and the beating Bradley. I think Khan should be numer 1 if Devon manages to make that upset.

As far as the Manny talk, I meant those who are saying he is the greatest of all time, top 10 ATG or whatever high praises some are throwing out. If he loses they will definatly have to back track off of some of those comments. Now with the raptors vs lakers comment.....lol.....that was me just using a hyperbole to make a point that just because you beat the best doesn't mean that you are the best. FWIW I'm not hanging the Kotelnik fight over Alexander's head. I have seen several of his fights and I'm just not impressed at all with his abilities. lol ok gotcha.. and by no means was I implying you were using the Kotelnik fight to hold anything against Alexander. Others are.

it's all good but who do you think is going to win tonight devon or bradley?at first i thought devon but the more ii thought about it the more i started to feel bradley was goin to win i've got Bradley winning a clear decision/mid round KO. Based on both guy's last 3/4 fights. But there's definitely a high possibility of an upset. 65:35 bradley. Can't wait to see the fight though - shame i'll have to wait till morning (UK)

why is it that timothy bradley that has beatin every 140 fighter put in front of him and is still undefeated has to fight amir who only has 3 fights at 140 to prove he is the #1? and not to mention the amir got knocked out about 5 fights ago well first off he got knocked out at 135. So what if hes undefeated, beaten everyone in front of him etc. Khan has a comparable record to Bradley@140 and Maidana is better then anyone on Bradley resume. For me Khan, Bradley and Alexander are in the top 3 spots but wouldn't put a number on each one. If you want to go by the ring rankings to make up your own mind, then so be it, i'll wait till the end on the mini tourny is over.

If he loses tonight it could be for different reasons other than he isn't as good as you - or others - thought he was. Maybe Alexander has a gameplan, maybe he's grown since his Kotelnik fight or maybe he's actually the better of the 2. Either way, Alexander has the tools to beat anyone at this weight class. He's had 1 bad showing against Kotelnik but are we always going to hang that over his head? In another post you described this fight being similar to a Lakers/Raptors game and how if the Raptors were to win it wouldn't automatically mean they're better than the Lake Show. But Alexander is not the Raptors. He is more like the Spurs or Pistons(in the 04 Finals against LA). The majority of the people are picking Bradley(LA) but Alexander(Det) might just match up well enough to pull out the upset. The Raptors/Lakers scenario you pointed out would equate more to a Buster Douglass/Mike Tyson type of fight, not this one. You clearly can not believe Alexander's talent is that of the Raptors in the NBA, can you? As far as the Manny/Mosley thing goes. If Manny losses and gets dominated then this will go down in the "styles make fights" category. Maybe he's not as good against faster fighters who can take a punch and dish one out themselves. But to say Manny wouldn't be who we thought he was would be a foolish statement. His resume alone speaks for itself. If he were to lose to Mosely it would just be a devastating loss for him but one he can come back from. At least that's my take on the 2 fights. who cares what you said you were not the offical judge of the fight the offical judges had amir wining by a point which means they had it 6 rounds a piece. urango wasn't a champion when devon beat him?was urango not looked at as this huge puncher just like maidana is looked at? so why is a maidna-khan fight a big deal but the alexdander- urango fight means nothing? If a fighter defeats the number 1 ranked fighter...that fighter (winner) takes the number 1 spot...simple arithmetic! So if Derek Chisora beats Wlad, that makes him no 1, yes?
