Was Shane Mosley close to his best in the mayweather fight?

don't you guys have even a little respect for Floyd? damn man if you think Shane was finished all due to a year lay off you're an idiot, Floyd was out in a longer layoff and came back to make Marquez look like he was stupid for choosing a career in Boxing and then straight to Mosley, just like that the number 2 and 3 p4p both humiliated by Floyd after a damn near 2 full years out. a lay off can affect you if you're Chris Arreola but if you're mentally conditioned and disciplned the way Shane Mosley is and how Wladimir and Vitali are you're basically always in shape Shane didn't go into the Floyd fight empty handed, he had a GREAT right hand in store for Floyd but guess what? Floyd adjusted and overcame. Shane didn't catch Floyd like that by accident he timed and knew the punch to throw and when to throw it except Floyd INSTANTLY adjusted and neutralized Mosley's right hand. by Shane losing his only weapon he allowed Floyd to even become the aggressor at times because he couldn't deal with the hand speed and the technique and even more so the body shots. Shane will obliterate your body if you let him but when you hit him there he doesn't take it too well some of you people really need to learn your fighters, you see 1 guy have a bad day and suddenly "he's shot" or "he's not the same" when really he is the same exact person just up against someone who makes him look like an amateur, plain and simple. Mosley hasn't shown us anything in his last 2 fights to say he's finished, Mora and Mayweather is like Hard and Harder so there is no shame in that, problem is that Sergio is a MUCH MUCH better fighter than you all give him credit for not knowing he went into that fight with more tools to win than Shane and couldn't do it, to me Shane won that fight hands down but he got a draw, Sergio Mora is not a tune up fight especially when you have to fight him out of your element in terms of weight and fight styles, do your homework fellas Shane is still the same Shane y'all just need to clean out them eye boogers or drink less beer when you watch fights

Mosley hasn't been in his prime since 2002. I'm surprised he got this far with no footwork, no head movement, but merely a right hand.

Are those not the facts? did he not have a training camp prior to the mayweather fight? So the **** what? Ali could have a training camp starting tomorrow, would he be close to his prime after 10 weeks in the gym? Shane was NOT as good as he was 10 years ago.

Mosley was not as his best vs Floyd.His best days are about 7 years removed from him.He won't get any better with age.He doesn't fight like B-Hop.That said I hope that by some miracle he wins his next fight.

imo he wasnt clsoe to being at par. idk if it was his diet, training, or just father time but he wasnt at his best. even before the fight on the 24/7 shane was looking tired. people was making threads about it then saying he was blood drained (idt that was the case). there was also rumors about him getting handled in sparring.

shane was on steroids and it was clearly shown in the floyd fight..dude had no stamina..conte said he was on epo which boosts stamina and this was put on display

no..he was 38 and had been inactive..but he was p4p#3 and a top ww..so statically he was a top fighter yes..but he was obviously past prime...but shane has NEVER been effective against pure boxers..hes ALWAYS looked good against comefoward fighters..and he said"ive perfected the mexican style of fighting"

He was out of the ring for over a year and his two previous opponents fought nothing like Mayweather. Add those factors to his age(39) and i would say no. If you watch the fight again he appeared to gas out after ust 3 or 4 rounds.
