i like their match making for what its worth. they could have conned the public with that black kid who pirog blasted to bits, giving him more soft touches in the vein of andre berto. they could have done the same with ortiz, conned the public into the cul-de-sac that is Ortiz...i'm sure they could also have dug deep and kept Maidana away from Khan if they really wanted to as well. i like that they arent afraid to stick their fighters into deep water to drown the pretenders and keep the real ones afloat. its a risky strategy and i have to give them credit for matching some of their fighters in not so easy gimme fights Top Rank and others like Haymon like to do...i'm sure GBP are guilty of it too, but the perception they have left with me anyway is that they arent scared to find out who is the better fighter and to test to find the star rather then build a fake star.
