Bob Arum: "I Will Never Forgive HBO"

Arum will work something out with Showtime to air all of his fights. HBO shouldn't have messed with this guy, he is the shrewdest business man in the entire sport.

Are you serious Cotto turned down Berto or Martinez? And we got Mayorga instead? HBO should've forced cotto to pick one of those. I swear to god, Arum is notorious for giving us these $hitty ass matchups. He is so bad for boxing. At least Golden Boy is always willing to give us awesome matchups. HBO is probably willing to piss Arum off now more days, since Floyd is back. it's not really about that. Cotto v Vanes was a legit fight. Vanes is undefeated so he had that going for him and Cotto is just Cotto. Funny thing is now they are talking Canelo v Mayorga, which I suppose is all of a sudden okay for HBO. Ridicolous.

Now that Greenburg is gone... i wonder how much the new boss would offer Mayweather-Ortiz? Can he restructure the old HBO contracts? I bet that will be the first order of business for the new "bossman" of HBO Sports?!

if arum takes his stable from HBO, HBO is gonna be hurting. I think that is debatable I think there are plenty of quality, young and older fighters that HBO can showcase. Cotto is on his way out, as is Pac. Those are his biggest money makers If Gamboa, JCC Jr. and a few others develop like we think they can, then sure. But at the moment, they are all matched very soft, so I don't think its a big loss. At the end of the day, Arum, who makes a living decieving people sounds like an ex-girlfriend. And when it comes down to it, nobody ponies up the cash like HBO does. Arum isn't going anywhere. HBO=Profit There are hurt feelings right now but I got a feeling that in due time they will let bygones be bygones on the right path of buisness and well boxing. :boxing: Either way though I have a feeling that HBO has something brewing, Ditto on Arum.
