And it's the weight believe it or not. People hardly ever mention this as a factor for this fight. But Pacquiao is doing the same exact thing to Shane in May that he did with Oscar which is drain him down to 147 when Mosley just fought at 154 against Mora. Now maybe Pacquiao shouldn't get a whole lot of criticism for it, because Mosley looked like a million bucks when he moved down to fight Margarito after the Mayorga fight. But this is still the same exact circumstances and I don't understand why Pacquiao is making Mosley come all the way down to 147 instead of fighting him at 154 or a little lower like he did with Margarito.
Last time I checked, DLH was the cash cow and dictated the terms. He did so against Floyd (weight, glove size, ring size etc) so you mean to tell me he didn't impose his terms on Manny.
Now how about you post articles stating that Mosley has issues making 147. It's almost like you are looking for any reason to complain.
If this was at 154, there is no doubt in my mind that you would be on here complaining that Manny is defending his title against a guy who hasn't look good since Vargas instead of Martinez/Angulo.
My dude, What does Dlh being a draw have to do with THE FACT:
He came down in weight to fight Manny Pacquiao ?
and once again the Mosley bout is the 4TH fight to be contested at a weight designed specifically to suit Manny Pacquiao!
Funny thing about FACTS, they dont change.
Mosley and De la hoya are both fights that were at a weight designed specifically to suit Manny Pacquiao.
Refute it.

So you want me to refute your claims that Mosley and DLH were fought at catch-weights?

Please feel free to Refute any of those facts.

How about you show me articles of Margarito, Cotto, Torrecampo and others stating that they were either drained or handicapped by the weight.

Let's say Pac vs Shane is at 154 for Manny's strap.
There would be countless threads (mostly Floyd stans) crying that Shane isn't ranked at 154, and why can't he defend it against Angulo or Martinez.

For one thing, Team Pacquiao already said right after the Margarito fight that they will go back down to 147. They all saw the huge disadvantage Pacquiao was in at 154...
Mosley has two choice, if he want to fight at 154lb he can easily ,rehydrate 7 lb,and be the heavy one at 154but that no advantage for mostly he be slower than a dog . Margo did rehydrate 15lb he announce he was 164 .fight night.he was wanting to be raw power.
Because De La Hoya said he was in the best shape in his life. Similar to Mosley willing to let Pac ass ream him in the negotiations saying he claims he can make 143 or whatever.
People keep saying that Mosley has always been a 147 lbs fighter, and that's true to an extent. But it's not like Mosley has done no damage at all at 154. He lost the second fight against Oscar, but he still made the fight close even if he was roided up. Lol. Not to mention Shane beat Vargas at 154 for what it's worth. Maybe the weight won't be a factor. Who knows. But even still, Pacquiao leaves himself open for this criticism. People who say otherwise aint looking at the facts.
I guess people forget that Shane barely made 147 at the weigh in for the Margarito fight.
Pac is ALWAYS open for criticism, especially for this fight. But i really don't think the weight is an issue here.
True, Oscar did say he was at the best shape of his life, but that's oscar. He's the guy who says one thing today and another tomorrow. I think he is challenging the Bobster for the person you most likely won't trust.
But some people just are comfortable in a particular weight class. Take Hatton for example. He bloats up in between fights, but he's most successful in the 140 range.
Also, as you mentioned, EVEN ROIDED, mosley lost to Oscar at 154. Fighting at a higher weight class which should have given him more strength, power and not having to worry about losing weight, plus the added bonus of using roids, AND HE STILL LOST.
And remember that mosley fought floyd at 147 just a little over eight months ago.(May 1, 2010 to be exact) Do you really think eight months would cause Mosley to suddenly need to go up one division to be at his peak? Unless of course you think Mosley was weight drained when he fought Floyd.
Really man, the weight simply isn't an issue here.
If Shane don't mind, why do you?

lol,you get annoyed that mosley fighting at his best weight, welterweight.
you fail to realise shane is less effective at 154.
and for years now is a career welterweight.
he has enough speed and power at welter.
lol this is not a catchweight.
its 147,welterweight,both guys have been fighting enough at welterweight to be called proper welterweights.
stop this nit picking of pac and others.
