For the Unification bout between Alexander and Bradley, They are both getting $1 mil each, Bare in mind thats for a unification bout, Khan made $2 to fight Salita which was a joke of a defence, He made the same against Malignaggi but made slighltly less against Maidana because it was a WBA split. So why does Khan earn more than Alexander and Bradley put together given they are in a unification bout and Khan is just defending his belt? if khan makes so much, why is he so cheap with his opponents?

If they were from the UK they'd be doing a lot better. Who is Khan in competition with in the UK? Haye, and Froch? Who are Bradley and Alexander regularly in competition with in the USA? Mayweather, Pacquiao, Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, Ward, and probably some more people... No disrespect because the British fanbase is really good. Unbiasedly probably the best fanbase. But Khan really doesn't have much competition to win that market over.

Bradley is getting over $1M for the Alexander fight excluding ITV and Sky money. 1. This is Bradley first $1 million pay day, Khan has had alot of them 2. Bradley is in a unification fight, Khan earns the same if not more for just a mandatory defence ala Salita. 3. Khan is sponsored by Reebok, Bradley doesnt have a decent sponser.

I'm with those who could care less what the dude is making. I'm not getting any of that money. As long as fighters put on meaningful fights who cares.

Amere Con currently benefits from getting money from 2 countries, he's already a huge star in the U.K with a good Reebok endorsement deal & now combine that with Golden Boy Promotions pushing him very hard in the commercial boxing scene, he's obviously going to earn more. There aren't many successful active boxers fighting in the U.K, but for Bradley & Alexander, there are many boxers active that are based in the U.S. Indeed, based in the US, not necessarily American. US boxing fan loyalty is often for foreign fighters. Filipino/Asian-Americans follow Pacquiao, Mexican-Americans follow Canelo/Margarito/Marquez, PR Americans follow Miguel Cotto etc. I may be wrong but I'd venture that Pacquiao and Cotto are bigger stars in the US than Timothy Bradley and Devon Alexander. Incidentally, Froch is arguably a more successful active fighter than Khan but nowhere near as well supported in the UK.

It's pretty obvious he earns more because he was considered more marketable, and then marketed much better. Which was the right business decision, fairness not entering into it.

It's because he is from UK and brits do support him. Bradley and Alexander don't have significant drawing power, because americans don't care about young AA prospects.

I think you have a point here, if you have a big following then you're going to get more money. But on the real thats jus for fan to fuss about because it doesnt mean that one fighter is better and we the fnas dont get a dime, we give them money lol

I was wondering the same thing,does that make him better?? I care only bc I find it very interesting as too what you can make because of the promoter you are with and the way you are treated in boxing politics. I feel it is very important for young fighters to look at what older fighters are making and as to how they can emulate what they did so they can also be paid well. I know the fans think who gives a **** about what money fighters make but that is the real reason they fight to feed their families and pay the bills and I know they also have huge pride for Boxing but money is what really motivates them.

i wish fighters made less and only got big paydays for meaningful fights..that was we'd actually get more quality fights
