I don't agree with the thread topic. I can say certain fights as we can easily see are not always about someone ducking someone. As a huge PBF fan I never thought it was necessary for him to fight Margarito. Now Cotto is a horse of a different color. Arum may have fvcked that up along with PBF but PBF should have made more noise for a fight with Cotto. That fight should have been made or at least PBF should have let it be known that is a fight he wants and is willing to make as long as Arum not on some BS.

Uh, he had legal problems in his life in the early 2000s as well. Didn't stop him from fighting then, so that excuse isn't really going to cut it. I'm not seeing how that changes anything that I said, according to this situation. If he's comparing a guy who went on vacation for a year and a half doing absolutely nothing versus someone that has legal issues now. He was also a contender back then as well, and had nowhere near this kind of a history of legal problems amassed(Which I'm sure her lawyers and prosecutors will use to make a case against him). A few baby momma issues is comparatively nothing extreme. Especially since back then he was actually fighting with something to prove.

Wont fight Sergio Martinez and expect Pac to fight Sergio. In fact Sergio is the only one they will give Pac credit for fighting. Everyone else Pac is expected to beat.
