How much money do you spend on boxing in a year?

Good question I spend a lot of money on Boxing every year I do not really know the amount. I would not have it any other way Boxing is my favorite thing in the world outside of my family.

If it is worth the price I never mind paying.

Seems like I will spend the least amount ever this year. Too many fights that should be on regular HBO that are going to PPV that I don't feel like paying for or can't afford to pay for. Usually I have to buy the fight myself and get a 6 pack so we're talking $70 bucks per fight.

Too much, but it's my sport so I gotta deal with it. I make sure I pick only the good fights.

For 2010 HBO/Showtime/PPV: $600 Live: $0 Equipment/Memorabilia: $0 Books: $50 Not too bad actually...

very low thousands maybe i'd say shy of two grand that includes gym membership god willing the little equipment i own should last for a while but it wasn't free cable / premium channels (which i wouldnt get otherwise) ppv tickets hotels ring magazine and perhaps even airfare if the fight is right totally worth it boxing is a huge part of my life i'll teach my sons to box and help them to grow into fans of the sport i take unbelievable pride in my involvement with boxing and my membership in its fanbase Edit: i've started to "consult" online streams on occasion a PPV that isnt worth your money shouldnt stuff the pockets of promotors and HBO not paying for a ppv is a tremendous way to communicate with it's providers it let's them know they've got to cut out the bull****

I go to 2-3 Live events a year I buy all the big PPV's Travel/Hotel Etc. ___________________ $6,000+ a year :)

About 4-6 PPVs a year. Will be paying for Cotto vs Mayorga but wont pay for Shane vs Pac unless friends come over and chip in or I find a bar that has it.

promoters are like crack dealers and im like a crack fiend when it comes to boxing...they offer, i buy let's see...each ppv is about $60...i buy about 3-4...plus drinks and food, about $100 per event $640-700 christ :pat: i gotta stop that sh1t same here man i just realised today, after buying £200 worth or boxing equipment and £5 everyweek for boxing lessons and £30 a month for gym membership and every PPV aswell as food and drink and heck i only watch boxing on sky and thats £50 a month. and thats when i realised i spend way too much on boxing but its worth every penny. Abd then i got hit by a body shot and the same thing ran through my head why am i doing this?

I didn't go to any major fights last year. Just some local **** and amateur golden gloves regional. So maybe $100? I bought a few PPVs and went to see Mayweather/Mosley(packed) and JMM-Diaz II (3 people) in theaters.

Varies. Last year I spent quite a bit on collectibles and whatnot, spent around 600 - 800 pound on Eder Jofre fight posters, footage and other resources alone, then add a few other collectible stuff, events and getting the food / drink for everyone it turns out at around 1500 pound, probably quite a bit more even. Tis worth every penny though.

probably about a G a year,on ppvs in boxing and ufc is it worth it.all depends on the outcome of the fights! If they were all like Gatti/Ward than no doubt it's worth it,that's priceless!! When they turn out like UFC 118 Toney vs Couture,or Mosley/Mora LOL HELL NO!!!
