fighters who made drastic changes in a rematch.
one of d biggest examples for me iz ray leonards adjustments he made in d rematch with duran. 1st fight leonard was dragged into a fight and paid the price wit d defeat. in d rematch he came out moving n boxing to outclass the great duran.
wat youz got?
And Diaz lost both of those so not really an adjustment.
I was just going by the topic of "biggest adjustments". Not necessarily a winning adjustment, just an adjustment. There was clearly a huge difference in gameplans between Diaz/JMM 1 and the rematch, but he still lost badly.
Juan Diaz vs. Juan Manuel Marquez 1 = Diaz being the Baby Bull.
Juan Diaz vs. Juan Manuel Marquez 2 = Diaz being the matador.
And Diaz lost both of those so not really an adjustment.
Duran-Leonard and Duran-Leonard 2 were drastically different.
Azumah Nelson-Jeff Fenech and Nelson-Fenech 2 were so drasticically different it ended up being upset of the year.
probably the most drastically different immediate rematches youll see.
although I dont know if either one were 'adjustments', you can make a case for severe undertraining on both accounts.
fenech-nelson iz a good 1. it is quite surprising to see how thingz unfolded after the 1st fight as fenech mauled him on the inside. then d rematch comes and it's a totally different fight with fenech being dropped early. as u pointed out..it was immediate az wellz!
good responses in relation 2 d topic so far!

ali holding fraizers head with a cheeky glove rapped round his head constantly in the rematch.(2nd fight).
didnt even get deducted a single point, despite hundreds of warnings.
