I've seen posts here praising fighters for being "active" no matter who their fighting. Staying" active” means nothing if you're fighting crappy competition as far as legacy is concerned. If a fighter is staying active by beating up on over matched opponents, what does that really prove? Sugar Ray Leonard only had 40 professional fights but he's without a doubt a top 15 ATG due to the quality of his opponents as well as the quality of his victories.
a typical flomo who pretends to know something and decided to say it but only managed to reveal how so ignorant he is, and of course also succeeded making ownself the butt of jokes around here.
Can you show me where I mentioned Floyd? This topic has nothing to do with him. Best believe if I was talking about Floyd I would've mentioned his name. Btw, Corrales, Hernandez, Castillo, etc. are all top level fighters.
My bad big man.I simply think that a fan of Floyd really has no room to criticize Pacman.
I'm talking about posters who like to simply give fighters praise for fighting, regardless of who their opponent is.......
I do agree here, completely. If ur gonna fight a 40 year old who hasn't looked good in his last 2 fights,at least have the decency to put that $hit on network hbo,not ppv.
Where are the posts that say being more active equals greatness?
Being active in boxing makes a better boxer period, its like practice. The more you do it the more refined your skills would be.

A Flomo fan talking about quality of opposition? Whats next an Amir Khan fan talking about how Hall Of Famers have to have great chins?

What's your point?
Bro,are U for real?U do realize U severely own Floyd with this tread right??Was that Ur intention??After all the 2 best fighters on Floyd's resume are in fact an old Oscar & an old Mosley.

40 professional fights is a lot, that's more than most champions today, bad example. Gives one where the champion is active but not great in your opinion to see what you mean.
Compare Leonard's 40 pro fights to fellow ATG like Sugar Ray Robinson and Roberto Duran who both had over 100+ fights. It's not the number of times they fought that made them great, it's who they fought and who they beat.

man, some of you certainly can reach.
Stop arguing back and forth like such *****es. Manny and Floyd are both elite. They're both great fighters (except Floyd's undefeated in fantasy NSB fights, and Manny's working on double-digit losses).
fukkin kids man. Arguing about how much more money one makes than the other...or how they don't fight. If they don't wanna fight, they don't wanna f**kin fight!
Arum and Floyd will never, ever get along again. The fight won't happen. move on.
oh and to add to the topic.....Greatness is measured by accomplishments vs. quality opposition. Those days are over.
Boxing is a ludicrous business.
