What sort of fight are you expecting?
Is it going to be a boxing match or will they mix it up a bit? We've just seen Khan-Maidana (FOTY candidate). Does anyone think bradley-alexander will come close in terms of excitement, or will it be a boxing match fought at long range with both guys being very cautious and not letting their hands go (especially in the early rounds)?
I've got a horrible feeling it's going to be a bit of a let-down (although i hope i'm wrong)
What do you guys think of Timothy Bradley as a boxer?
I've seen his last 4 or 5 fights and I've come away with a bad impression because of his wide, looping punches just like a Mayorga. I expect these kind of punches from unskilled fighters like Margarito and Pacquiao but not an athletic guy that has some boxing skills like Bradley.
Pacquiao doesn't throw wide looping punches...
But anyway, to answer ur question, I think it has more to do with his height than anything else

I see it being a tactical affair early, before Bradley comes on strong in the middle rounds and is inspired by a cut above Alexanders eye. However Devon dominatates rounds 8-12 and wills his way to a majority decision which most will agree was right. I dont think it will be fight of the year, but it will have rematch/trilogy material in it once Khan is eliminated as i believe he will be as soon as he takes on either of these two.
Alexander doesn't know how to mix it up. It will be a boxing match with Bradley no doubt being the agressor. If the fight ever gets to the inside, Bradley will tear him up there. But on the outside, Alexander's height, reach, speed, and activity will make the fight harder for Bradley. Bradley is more multi-dimensional so I expect him to be thinking his way in the first few rounds... With Alexander's obvious back up and jab style, and Bradley figuring out a way to get to him, I expect a slow chess match at least in the first 6 rounds, and after words a FAST PACED chess match.
Bradley can bang and Alexander likes to fight on the inside, it will be very good. Both guys know they have something to prove, especially Alexander.
Devn dont know how to fight inside
the fight will be a chess match imho. definitely won't win fight of the year. you should not tell your casual boxing fan friends that this is a must see fight... agbeko/mares is a better all action fight.
He has plenty of speed. Tough guy, we've seen him rise from brutal knockdowns and win fights.
Yeah but his style just doesnt appeal to me. Im actually picking Alexander i think.
His style is that of which adapts to his opposition. Those are the toughest guys to beat because if you find a kink, you don't get to exploit it for 12 rounds, you have to find something new because he won't fight the same way the entire fight.
I think you're overselling it a bit. The best thing he has is conditioning. He isnt really that skilled at all.
Bro, Tim Bradley's style is neither dull nor vanilla. He can bully guys, mix it up inside, and box outside. Is he a great fighter? Probably not, but dude comes to fight.
I dont find him entertaining in the slightest. I couldnt even say what his style is. Hes just kinda ok at everything. He does nothing particularly special or eye catching = Vanilla
I'm looking for fireworks Bradley looks legitimately angry by Kevin's statements. I think he's going to come out looking for a KO. But he might catch a viscous uppercut like Urango if he isn't careful.

I'm expecting high-intesity chess for the first four rounds or so. Quick, hard-hitting, but a smart mans fight. I think that Bradley will have the advantage with his higher volume of punches and head movement.
Towards the middle of the fight, Alexander will step it up, potentially stunning or even dropping Bradley. It will wake Bradley up and he'll end up taking command of the fight and win a rather large decision.
It'll be fun. It'll go by quickly. It'll live up to the hype, I feel.
Pretty even, with Bradley having a slight edge. If they do it right, like keep the fight explosive and entertaining, they might produce gold in their own backyard and don't have to fight anybody but themselves for two more times. Like fans would demand a rematch, or even a trilogy similar to the Gatti/Ward or Barrera/Morales. I look forward to this match.
